Checking the chemical balance in a swimming pool is always a pain. The AquaChek method means you don't have to compare colours with the printed examples on the tub - always a bit unreliable and the examples can fade. I bought this as a refill so I could continue using the test meter. I find it accurate in that I have had no issues with our hot tub vis-à-vis corrosion or unsafe water. I use chlorine in our tub so it is important that I regularly check the 'Ph' level, and total alkalinity, so the meter and the strips are an easy way of doing this.

Strips work great. My old strips were expired and misreading the pH. New strips solved this issue.
