It works great to stop the dog pulling on the lead. He’s a strong dog and we were struggling to walk him. He didn’t like it being put on but is slowly realising that it means it is walking time and he now settles down quite quickly after only a week. Try it, it’s strong, easy to use good quality and isn’t very expensive and provides peace of mind on walking that you’re in control.

Amazing product. It took a couple of days for my dog to get used to this but it has fixed so many issues while out walking. My Cocker Spaniel was always over excited on his walk, he would pull and twist and dart forward. When we would see another dog he would pull to try and get closer. Since using the halti he is no longer overexcited, he walks next to me without any pulling or twisting, when we see other dogs now as he is not overexcited so he just ignores them and carries on walking. I just wish we had got this sooner! No discomfort to my dog, he is very happy out on walks now without any issues!

I bought this (size 4) for my year old Rottweiler pup who recently had surgery on her leg. After 3 months of strict cage rest she no longer walks to heal as she used to and in order to protect her leg from her pulling too much we bought this. It does work to stop her pulling at full force (which is a lot as a Rottweiler, even though she is small for her breed at only 37 kg) but she hates it (as does my Labrador which we trialled with a previous HALTI head harness) and tries to get it off by either rubbing her face on the grass, against my leg or using her foot.It's not hard to get on, it goes over the muzzle, clips on the side of the face and there's a clip that attaches to the collar (I recommend a double clip lead so you can attach one bit to the harness and one to your dog's collar/body harness just in case the head harness does slip off) and my dog is pretty happy for me to put it on her. My mum took her for a walk the other day and told me the harness had slipped off her head. The lead was also attached to her collar so she was safe but it's not at all ideal. We have since retightened the strap around her head and are hoping it doesn't do that again.We had an identical HALTI head harness and only had to get a new one as a result of my dog's operation and subsequent loss of lead control; we had had the other one for a long time for our previous dog and while it remained in good condition, we seldom used it because after training they don't need it. Getting this will not fix your dog's lead walking without simultaneous training, it is merely a tool to reduce them pulling you as much as they possibly can while you undertake said training.Overall I would recommend this if you have a dog that likes to pull you and as a training aid but I would not recommend it if you are looking for an instant fix because if that is the case it will only irritate you and your dog.

I have to say this is first thing that worked on my dogs. I have two jack russells One very loud and barky, always running marathon. Second still puppy but she is also running like crazy on the lead. My older One would bark on anything that moves, any noises. Once I both this product they both stop pulling on the lead and 0 bark. I was at the end of my nerves Trying different things but this One gets 5 star and I highly recommend it.

The product is good. Although value for money is questionable.The connector for the loop part (that connects the halti to collar) came off within first week, due to it only being tied very lightly. Unfortunately unable to get it back on it has now been lost, which makes it not as sturdy or supportive as it once was.Sizing is a bit hard to get rightThe colour is great, washable and does some have reflectiveness at night. The padding does wear down pretty quickly.Overall, I think I’ll shop about next time before going for this particular product again

I bought this alongside the halti training lead and what a difference m, my two dogs constantly pulled everytime they was walked resulting in numerous dislocated shoulders/jumping up people basically running amok, this has completely changed that and I am putting it mildly, I would ne er of believed it if I hadn't witnessed it for myself NOW it's like walking two completely different dogs, no jumping up anyone/no running amok YOU are in complete control, I wish I had got one when they were still babies but now that I've witnessed the difference trust me I will NEVER go back to the normal leash and trust me I have tried alot of different ones but this is by far the BEST purchase I have ever made, NOW I will be buying another(different colour) so each dog has their own instead of having to share it, it's sturdy/well made/really light to hold and in no way traumatised the dog once they get used to having it on, my dogs were BOTH like bucking Broncos when they 1st had it on but within 5 minutes they surrendered and were perfectly fine with it, so if you have a dog that pulls excessively,jumps up people constantly while being walked BUY this it will be the BEST investment that you EVER made
