Comfortable, fits well and does the job!
Ladies, listen up! This is the tummy tamer to go for. I've tried numerous types and this is by far the best! Great price and it works! Also very comfortable, at least for this sort of thing. Here's a tip though. Don't try and squeeze into a smaller size than what you REALLY wear. That will only create discomfort and aggravation. If you wear a large then get a large! Or if you wear an extra large then get an extra large! Of course the model they show looks slim and trim to begin with, but we all know that after a certain age, we no longer look as we did when we were 25. That's why we're buying things like this, right? Anyway, it was either this or a tummy tuck and wasn't real thrilled at the prospect of that on several levels. I used to have a lower tummy that you could bounce quarters off of. Well, that doesn't last into the sixth decade and I have followed my late mother's pattern inasmuch as she once had a flat tummy in her young years but the years and kids took their toll. Seriously, get this. Yes, you may get a bit of a "muffin top" because this is a panti-style tummy tamer, but that is easily covered up. A bulging tummy is not easy to hide unless you are wearing a tent! Get this. Do it now!

Great for any occasion
I am 5’2 and weight 155lbs. I ordered a medium in blush and it fit perfectly! I wore it under my wedding dress and no one could tell. The back of my dress was low and and see-through lace and the color and design seemed like it was a part of my dress. It never rolled up or down and I never felt them squeeze my thighs or leg crease like some I’ve tried before. Definitely would purchase again!

Great Support
I have a hernia repair that is giving me problems, I have to wear control panties otherwise I am in too much pain. These are the best support/control panties I have found so far, once I arrange my "bits" they are actually quite comfortable. The only thing I would like for improvement is a wider waist elastic as these tend to roll at the top which is why they only get a 4 and not a 5. They also hold in my beer belly, but that is not why I bought them. A little pricey for what I normally pay for undies but well worth it and I would buy again.

Too small....
If you are a 16 or up buy size up. It was so tight it gave me a muffin top above my muffin top! Total tummy tuck though which is nice. I like Olgas better.. Not so crazy tight and no muffin top created.

Wonderful; wish it was more affordable
I bought these along with the 6-pack Angelina high waist girdle panties. I'm 5'5, 140 pounds, and 7 weeks postpartum after C-section. I chose medium size for both purchases. The Maidenform renders firmer support for my belly, without being too tight. I also have diastasis recti, and these panties help hold my muscles together firmly but comfortably. With these panties, I can finally sleep securely at nighr without the retched hospital binder! These are better quality than the Angelina multi-pack, but I'll probably stock up on the Angelina brand because I can get 6 pairs for almost the same price as this one pair.

Extremely happy - not paid to say that either
Ok, so here's the deal. My son is getting married. I needed something to flatten my age 61 belly so my Calvin Kein wedding dress would look good. I'm 5'7", approx 130-135 pounds. I'm not overweight. I just have a nice dress for the wedding that my tummy needed to be more flattened. Hey, the gyms have been closed what can I say? lol. So I read the reviews and decided I would give this a try. Glad I did. It fit perfect. I read the reviews that said to order to size and I did. Medium. My measurements are 36, 30, 40 if that helps you figure out things. It's tight but a good tight. Not uncomfortable. really like it. Glad I purchased it. It gives me the support I needed without being uncomfortable. If I could suggest anything, it would be to order to size. I'm not sure how this would be for a really overweight person to be honest. The support is great for me, but I don't know how it would be for a person with a very big stomach. I suggest you read the reviews on those who are built that way. Hope this helps.

About As Good as It Gets!
Face it, we are all looking for that perfect product that will not only suck in every inch of fat from every part of your body but will also be so incredibly comfortable that we barely notice we are wearing it! Well, it doesn't exist. Or if it does, it comes at a tremendous price (and I'm not just talking financial). I am 56 so am old enough to remember when the first shapewear (SPANX!) came on the market. Why I bought them is a mystery since I was much younger and slimmer but maybe had body dysmorphia? I would wear those suckers to formal events and it was difficult to even breathe and I was continually adjusting them because I'd buy the high cut ones that come to just below your bra and then they would inevitably roll down and it was never worth it.I stopped wearing them when I gained weight because I stopped buying dresses that would accentuate my worst part-my stomach. I also stopped going to as many formal events that required a "fancy" dress and frankly, I stopped caring all that much. But I'm going to the wedding of the son of my best friend and I bought a dress that I love and thought I'd revisit what's new in shapewear. And there's a lot of new manufacturers and styles and claims of vast improvements but after reading every review on every product, it doesn't seem that all that much has changed for most women. Here's what I learned-1) If you are 5'4"or shorter, any style that comes up to your bra is going to roll down.2) Seems to be the same with the styles that are thigh slimming, especially the shorter ones that are called "boy shorts" by most manufacturers.3) Most women want to look their best at the most important events like the wedding of their son or daughter and I read so many reviews where the mothers complained that it nearly ruined the event-until they would inevitably just take them off. What is most important? That nearly everyone you know will suddenly notice you have a pouch? (they already know and they probably have one too) OR that you have the time of your life at one of the most important events of your life? I go for #2.But I need SOMETHING so I decided to concentrate on the most important which is my tummy. I tossed out (for consideration) anything that came high up since I am short and I don't want to have that rolling effect. Same with the thighs. The dress I'm wearing is not tight enough to make my thighs an issue so I started looking at just styles that concentrate on the belly and this seemed to be one of them (there were 3 more) so I ordered all 4 and hands-down, this was the most comfortable AND the most slimming. Two of the others I ordered did nothing to make my stomach even a bit smaller and the third had a back seat that rose too high and my lower fanny/upper thigh fat was very noticeable. This one is comfortable. It's slimming. I know I won't be uncomfortable but will feel better having some control in the tummy area and they are inexpensive.

Not impressed
Nice item if it fitted , sizes well out. I wear size 14 - 16 clothes and never have a problem getting in to them , this however was a joke. I originally ordered size 14. Too small. I then ordered a size 16 - 18 and although i got them on it gave me the biggest muffin top ever ! not a nice look. In the end i gave up and went with a body, much better look and MUCH more comfortable. I think that maybe these are for women who really don't need to flatten their tummy at all.

Certainly holds you in but comes up a bit small
This is a good quality product. i bought it according to my size This usually works with Maidenform but this time, it came up a bit small. I recommend going one size up to ensure that you don't get two bellies - I don't have two bellies but this made me look like I had two! Looks wise it's very matron like!

Cute vintage look
They look lovely, a vintage style, but the top seam which is very very thick rolls down (highly uncomfortable). They look very cute but I think come too high on my body, about 3cm above the narrowest section of my waist. (I am not petite by any means, nor is there anything special about my torso, or so I think :) ).The knickers give very strong support.Consider the bottom sew is pressing on the legs and there is going to show a prominent line.

Maidenform shapewear xl
Nice product, and was at an excellent price. I would say more medium than firm for the fit, but it is a nice fit and comfortable to wear. I bought xl for a comfortable, but not overly tight fit, and am around a 14 to 16.

Fit neatly and smoothly.
These are excellent quality and fit as I like. They are firm control - but not too firm and come up to the waist in such a way as to smooth it out with no roll down. They give a great line under clothes. I will buy more.
