Crannog Heavy Duty Fire Guard Screen with Front Door, Features Back Safety Latch for Child & Baby. for Fireplace, Open Fire, Log Burner. Screen Fireguard to Keep Dog, Cat, Pet & Dogs Safe (Design)

This Company is absolute class! I bought a fireguard from them but the doors at the front did not close properly with the magnets. I contacted the seller and they apologised and immediately send a replacement out which works perfectly. It’s perfect for protecting my new puppy from my log burner. It’s sturdy and well made and is a really attractive design as well. I am very impressed and highly recommend.

the 2 doors at front allow easy access to log burner. The mesh could be easily bent so is best fixed soonest to prevent damage in transit to location. Once in position works well with magnet closures and a rear safety clip for child safety. looks smart and does the job. Very pleased.

Spot on, exactly what I wanted.

We are really happy with the fire guard, it looks nice but it is sturdy and keeps little fingers off the fire. We love the lock, on the back of the door, which stops you opening it. Easy to fit, it will move if you lean against it, but this hast been an issue. When we don’t have visitors we can open the doors which allows more heat to get out, but with the doors closed the room still gets warm.

Took ages to choose a fire screen. Wanted one to stop cats getting to the stove. It is well made and a good size overall and quite sturdy with good mesh. Quite deep which allows use for quite large openings. Absolutely love the opening at the front which makes life so much easier, particularly when adding logs and keeping the cats at bay. I am fortunate my front pattern opening matches. I also like the small hooks at the back to allow for it to be properly fixed to the wall which is another positive safety measure. Would recommend.

Ordered a discounted 'Like New' version and, a little while later, received an email from the vendor reminding me that I had ordered Like New which may be dented and/or scratched and have battered packaging. Yes, the packaging was battered, dented and torn, but the contents were new and unmarked in any way. It looks superb in front of my log burner and, when the winter comes, will keep my Labrador puppy (who likes to sleep on the hearth!), at a safe distance. All credit to Crannog - definitely 5*.

very sturdy good quality

Well packaged but fire guard still slightly twisted on door. Guard gets quite warm

Good quality Fast delivery

We bought this to put around our front-loading wood stove, so it’s great to have the doors instead of having to move the screen every time. The screen arrived assembled and in perfect condition. I believe that the reviews that show it dented, dirty, etc. are due to poor handling by the shipper, not the company who makes them. Our local UPS is great :) We don’t have it attached to the wall because our stove sticks out too far, but my kids have already put the screen to the test by crashing into it a couple times. The screen protected them from the stove and survived without any dents!

Parfait!
