Great item!
I received this case back in December 2024 as a small Christmas gift to myself & it has been wonderful! The keyboard is very easy to connect & is very sturdy & works very efficiently with my ipad! It is also very easy to pick up & carry where ever I need to! Highly recommend!

Keyboard is great, case is just so-so
When I finally bought an iPad, I figured I’d do it right, so I bought the Apple Smart Keyboard, Pencil, and AirPods, and then I bought an Otterbox protective case that fit with the keyboard. And it was great for a few years. Eventually, the keyboard stopped working well — it seemed to be an issue with the connection points on the iPad, so even when the keyboard appeared to be connected, the iPad didn’t know it was there. So I finally gave up and came her to find a replacement. The last thing I wanted to do was spend all that money again, and this one had a great price for Black Friday, so I decided to give it a try.The Good:* The keyboard works great right out of the box. All I had to do was turn it on and press the Connect button for my iPad to pick up the Bluetooth connection.* It charges fast via USB-C cable. Really fast.* The keyboard seems pretty sturdy, metal back that connects to the case via magnets.* I have not experienced any lag or problem keys. The Not-as-good:* The case is silicone or rubber, not very thick, and definitely not as protective as the Otterbox case I had. It also doesn’t have much of a lip around the edges, so I’m glad I have a tempered glass screen protector because one good drop, and my iPad would shatter.* I don’t like the positioning of the case and keyboard. No matter which of the positions you choose for the keyboard, the case sticks out several inches in the back, making it awkward to use.* The case itself is rather flimsy, meaning the keyboard bounces around unless it’s placed on a solid surface. The whole point of the iPad is its portability, meaning you’re probably gonna want to set it on your lap, but that doesn’t work so well with this case and keypad. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for. When I was willing to pay the exorbitant price for Apple’s own Smart Keyboard, I got a very sturdy, very convenient and easy-to-use keyboard that lasted doe . When I wanted to save a ton of money, this little keyboard was the obvious best buy, and though it’s not as good as its $100+ counterpart, it does the job well enough.

Works Great for me!!! Gen 9, 10.2 ipad
I just bought a gen 9. By most people’s standards, old technology. BUT my ipad that I cannot even remember when I bought it finally dropped dead, and I had to do something. They are under $200 nowadays, so I couldn’t justify spending almost that amount on a case with keyboard. I had been using a ZAGG case with my old one. ZAGG cases were economically infeasible for that, but not this. I read a lot of reviews on this, and some people really hate it. I LOVE IT. I am mostly a keyboard kind of person (yes, when I went to college, I took my own electric typewriter), so it is sort of a must. I have the black, no back light. This case will prop the ipad and hold the keyboard in place with magnet. To close it, you push the ipad back, and move the keyboard top to the bottom of the ipad and fold. The lip of the case then closes over the top and everything is together in one sort of protected case. Don’t drop your ipad. Mine rarely leaves the house so it is safe in this. For those who have users under 12-16 years, the bullet proof drop/spill proof case would be the better choice. I bought one, but the keyboard options weren’t sufficient. They are highly rated and I understand why if it is an on the go or kid use item. I don’t think this case will last the life of this ipad, but it might. If it does die (my though is the keyboard would be the cause), I could afford to buy another one (case). And I would buy this one! TWO BIG NOTES - First, you have to actively put the ipad into sleep mode before closing the case. It does not have the magnet magic to do so. This is not hard or strenuous but I saw reviews taking off stars because of it. Second, definitely buy a screen protector for your ipad. I am sure the friction between the keyboard and your screen will mar the screen. I can’t rate the battery life yet. So far, other than when new, I haven’t had to charge it. Sturdiness is fine at this point. The keyboard requires firm touch. It has features with which I am not familiar. Touch screen? NA.

Nice case, and not too expensive!
For the most part, I like this case, and I'm not sure how to make it better! It folds up very nicely and is compact. The keyboard works well, though it may take a little getting used to... Materials give the impression of decent quality. What I don't care for, is that to be used with the keyboard you really need to have it on a flat surface for support, and the keyboard needs to be repositioned so the tablet is stable. But I don't see that another option is possible...That said, I'm perfectly happy with this.
