Quick, cheap and healthy
This is definitely a cookbook for a busy family. I really like the fact that almost all of the recipes included are simple, with few ingredients and minimum fuss, from Air Fryer Frozen Fish Fingers to Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza. There are lots of advantages to cooking in this way, as the cookbook makes plain. Of course, there is an initial cost in buying the Air Fryer itself, but once you have done this, you are into a modern world of cookery. I appreciate a lot of things about this way of cooking. It is speedy, for a start: chips take 15 minutes, for example, as opposed to 25 to 40 in a conventional oven; cajun chicken takes 20 minutes, so you can decide what to eat when the kids come home; do the preparation and get food on the table in half an hour. All good, when the family has a raging hunger. Then, the cost is attractive. Because the Air Fryer cooks so quickly (30% more quickly than a conventional oven), it will save money. It is also energy-efficient, saving 50% or more on traditional methods of cooking. It’s a small machine, so you can stand it on a worktop, as long as it has 13cm space all around it for air vents to work safely.Plus, if you have fussy eaters in the family, as I do, you can cook two separate meals, in the twin baskets: a real relief for families with meat eaters and staunch veggies in their midst. Each of the 4.5L capacity baskets cooks entirely separately, with its own temperature-compartment and fan, so nothing from one side can affect the other. You can cook for up to eight people, and the two sides of the cooker can be set to finish at the same time, using a really natty feature called SyncCook. What a revelation! The cooker also has a viewing window, so you can keep an eye on things and make sure they are not over-browning.Healthy eating is also a big plus because the Air Fryer cooks using very little oil. As anyone watching their weight and trying to encourage good eating habits knows, cutting out some of the fat is a real help. With these recipes, you can make crispy chips and a host of other dishes without using much oil. The Air Fryer does all this by circulating air rapidly around the baskets while food is cooking. So there we have it! The cookbook has a wide range of family-friendly recipes, from easy breakfasts through vegetables, meats and fish to desserts. You can even bake with the Fryer, so the clear, simple instructions let you do everything you could do with a conventional oven, but at a lower cost and more healthily and quickly. What’s not to like?

Very basic
As a newbie to the world of air fryers I thought I would get a book to help get me started. This is a very basic book which some might find useful but really most of the information is very easily found elsewhere. The "recipes" are more like very basic cooking instructions and the photos don't really correspond to the recipes. Two examples are breakfast potatoes, whatever they are supposed to be, with a photo of chips and a recipe for parsnips with a photo of some celery. If you are looking for quality recipes and how to make them in your air fryer then this probably isn't the book for you. If on the other hand you want very simple instructions with British weights and measurements and very simple recipes then this might be useful. Would I recommend it? Not really, there is much more useful information freely available on the internet.

Load of twaddle!
Absolute rubbish - littered with mistakes, even the index starts everything with Air Fryer, then nothing is in alphabetical order!! Check out how to cook a steak. It The timings are for well-done (yuk) and end with " Check out the table below for other doneness levels" - there is no table!! I could go on and on, but I think you get the gist.

Lots of silly errors
Lots of silly errors! For example, one recipe made reference to 'see near the top of this post for my method'??? Also there were incorrect Chapter headings - e.g. 'Chapter 9 - Casseroles, Frittatas and Quiches' - no such recipes in book! I wonder if this book was proof-read!Very disppointed - having spent nearly £100 on the Tower air fryer - thought that Amazon/Tower could have provided a decent recipe book for £9.99!Sorry to complain but that's my views. Thank you.
