I got this for our living room because my husband is allergic to cat dander and I seem to have developed a dust allergy.So far, it's worked well and does what it's supposed to: improve the room's air quality. It's unobtrusive and quiet, too.Good value for money, I'd say.

I really like this unit, I have been using it for a couple of months and it has been brilliant in both functions and performance.

I'm very impressed with this air filter. As good as leading brands such as Levoit, in my opinion. It is very easy to operate and can be up and running in minutes. Lovely clean design. Fantastic range of fan speed settings - including a boost function which really does get the air circulating extremely well. Has a pleasant tone when operating the buttons and the fan is comparably quiet to leading brands such as Levoit.Brilliant for reducing smoke fumes, dust etc. We currently are using ours to clean the air of viruses and bacteria. The only negative is that the sleep function has one light on the top, which is distracting when trying to get some sleep - but can easily be covered by a piece of cloth. Will definitely buy again. Another super Amazon Basics buy!

I’ve tried many air purifying filters over the years and I have three dogs and a cat and this is always the one I swear by,you can see when you change the filter just how good it is.The filters can seem expensive but they last well and longer than the competitors and they are always available whereas other purifying machines don’t seem as easy to find

Edit - Updating to 1 star as there are no replacement filters.It's quite amazing to me that Amazon are even still selling this item, with their branding no less, when there appears to be absolutely no way to support it.When I saw the bad reviews upon purchasing almost a year ago I just assumed there was some kind of supply hiccup that would be long since resolved when I need to replace filter, so I periodically check in at least once a month to see if the filters are available to grab a few.Almost 10 months later, I am yet to see those filters ever be available, and there seems to be no information at all regarding possible substitutes or anything.This is actually a rip-off, the item is useless without the ability to change the filter.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Great unit, I bought it mostly for my health and to see if it would help my dogs skin condition.Whilst I can't speak to either of those, I can say that my house generally feels fresher and also dust has become virtually non-existent. Normally I dust the black glass TV stand and within a couple of weeks you can start to see it form again, just purely for the sake of science I haven't dusted that TV stand for 3 months and there's only the thinnest smattering of dust on there.Very impressed.

Unless you have a very large room I would discourage you from buying this. I’ve only had it a couple of days and sure it’s impressive but it’s big and an eyesore. I regret buying it 😭 don’t make my mistake I did check the measurements but I still wasn’t prepared for the size of this especially when they only work in one room it’s pretty unnecessary to have such a big unit. I really wanted wheels and it clouded my judgement. It’s good value for money but unnecessary unless you have a big space.

Since buying this, I am breathing much better, and my airways, especially my nose are very clear. It's very quiet, so quiet I don't even need to use the night function, I just have it on 1 on the regular setting. Very simple to use, and I particularly love the turbo function which is great if someone is cooking, or some other strong smells are around, it deals with it lightning quick. I've noticed a huge reduction in the amount of dust in the environment. So glad I bought it, the only improvement that could be made is at night, the white display lights are quite bright, so they could make a night light function. I just cover it over with a small piece of cardboard, and problem solved.

If you're looking for an airborne dust clearer for a workshop in the UK, good luck! OK, you can buy them on Amazon, but what about replacement filters? None! But the Amazon Basics Air Purifier is basically the same thing, and you can get replacement filters! No brainer. It stands on the floor and you can push it around and it filters the air. What's not to like? And as we don't sleep in the workshop, I can't answer for sleep mode, so only gave that one star because I don't know. Be warned, it is big - a cubit across corners - and worktop tall, and intended for a room twice the size of the workshop, but we bought it to clear the air quickly, and it does. In auto mode it even detects burnt toast from the kitchen!
