I purchased the DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo in 2020 and it’s still working great and looks fine after years of use. I even crashed it into a tree at one point and broke one of the arms, but after replacing the part, the drone went back to working perfectly. That alone says a lot about how repairable and reliable it can be with basic care. The camera quality is very good for such a small drone. The sensor is decent, colors look great, and the footage is clean and stable thanks to the 3-axis gimbal. Control response is excellent and feels very precise, which makes flying smooth and predictable. Battery life is closer to about 25 minutes in real use, not the full 31 minutes, but having the Fly More Combo with extra batteries is pretty much a must. Pros: Very good camera and color quality for its size Excellent control response and stability Durable enough to survive a crash with replaceable parts Fly More Combo adds a lot of value Still working well after years of use Cons: Real battery life is closer to 25 minutes Arms can break in crashes Not a low-light beast due to small sensor Conclusion: Overall, the DJI Mini 2 is an awesome little drone that delivers great image quality, smooth control, and solid reliability over time. Incredible drone! It’s unreal how I launched it off my building’s rooftop. The wind was strong up there, but the image was perfectly still. You couldn’t tell it was moving at all, like studio-quality film. I flew a couple of blocks away, all the way down to the wharf. There’s a hill and a bunch of buildings between me and the wharf. I ended up losing signal over the wharf and got scared. I thought I’d lose my drone, but it actually raised up in the air so high it went above the limit it’s usually allowed to go. It didn’t stop going up until it reestablished a clear connection with my phone and remote. I was able to fly back home without any problems. I was so relieved. I could’ve stopped flying before it got out of reach. It was giving me serious indications that it was about to lose signal. It was flashing in and out and blinking that I was out of range, but I just kept pushing it anyway. I don’t know what I was thinking. The drone is pretty friendly, very easy to use, and extremely portable. It’s very lightweight, and I actually put it in the pocket of my pants and rode my bicycle without even it being uncomfortable. It’s also extremely durable. I crashed it once without blade protectors, and you couldn’t even tell that I wrecked it. There was only a small scratch on one of the blades. The only function I wish it had was auto-tracking. It doesn’t auto-track a person or bicycle and follow you on its own.

This is a great drone and anyone could fly it it basically flys itself if you have it connected to satellites (which it will do by itself). It is small but not too small and will ezialy pack around on family trips plus you don't need a license of registration because it is under the 250 gram weight limit for the US. It is very strong I already crashed mine and it runs fine but I do recommend getting more propellers if you think you will crash it. And it looks really nice in the air. Like I said anyone can fly it even your 5 year old. Just be ready to take over the controls. I would get this drone if you are interested at all with filming or to take pictures on family trips.

All in all, the DJI Mini 3 4K Fly More Combo with DJI RC strikes a great balance of performance, ease of use, and value. It’s a fantastic choice for hobbyists and content creators alike, and a solid step up from entry-level drones.

I was astounded when I unboxed my new DJI Mini 3. The packaging, the engineering, the quality and precision were obvious. It seems that DJI has borrowed from Apple's playbook when it comes to packaging and precision. I am a novice drone flyer and I'm still learning this new one. So far the results are impressive - easy to fly, even in gusty winds, and despite the buffeting, the gimbal keeps the videos steady. The video resolution at 4K is impressive too. Will update my review as I gain experience. Will see if it deserves a 5 star review.
