Roth Audio OLI C30 Centre Channel Speaker - Black

This Roth Centre/Voice speaker is truly impressive. The top end is clear, and the mid is meaty- but where it really surprises is the bottom end or base frequencies. It seems to hold its own in a full 7 set surround series with a Yamaha DSP and a Technics (JBL) slave sub-base woofer.The overall sound is very coherent. You will need to adjust your room carefully, and as a little tip- make sure that you set the delay both on your pro-logic and your output device (such as a smart TV) because otherwise there will be too much echo caused by the out-of-phase signals. My Samsung TV sets at around 70ms - I don't know why this is, but I'm guessing that the sound is decoded faster than the picture. You will then need to choose your best DSP options, and mine works best in either Spectacle, Pop, or plain Dolbe. Do not listen to anything that anyone says about HDMI cables, it's mainly bunkum to get you to spend £50 on a gold cable! I'm using a 10 metre optical cable with no loss of signal whatsoever. The only signal losses are caused when the kids play the TV (and sound) from there Samsung Tablets. This is simply because the device (or screen) mirroring does not support full surround sound bandwidth. Hope this helps.

Smaller than I expected (yes I know there are product dimensions I can look at) but this worked well for me. Massive upgrade on the flat panel KEF I had before but not the biggest of sounds. The magnetic (fixingless) way the cover is held in place is fantastic.I just wish that they would put the bass ports on the front as most people will be mounting this very close to the wall under the screen

Good value speaker system (I have as part of 5.0 system with Roth OLI RA1).

For the price it is a pretty good speaker, crisp sound and clear dialogue.

wrong description on amazon, speakers are 4inch not 5.25inch like in description. well made and sound ok like for 4inch speakers.

good sound

The speaker is excellent itself. Crisp high frequencies and a nice rounded low frequency. I run it through a Sony receiver with 4 Oli RA1's and a KH30 subwoofer. The reproduction of my music is clear and precise. I'd recommend Roth Audio speakers to anymore. Good speakers for the money

Disappointed that I did not receive the 5.25" that I expected, I got a 4" model.I have got over my disappointment when I connected up and played my first movie, great sound really pleased with this great speaker
