A direct replacement for the one in our close door, well made and strong. Thick material so shouldn't bend when kicked. Good price, easy to swap as fitted exactly as old other brand.

I have fitted quite a few of these at work, all part of a secure door system. Runs on 12V so compatible with more door security systems. Can be a bit fiddly to get the DC wires to stay in place so I suggest using small ring crimps as I have done. Works perfectly and in daily use - up to 100 operations a day 5 days a week. will be buying more of these as the door entry system is expanded. Recommended.

Replaced the one on our communal entry door as it was broken. Easy to install as just swapped them over.

It is damned fiddly to put wiring onto the terminals but the worst thing is the hairs width copper wire used internally. Two ultra, ultra thin copper wires for + and - terminals covered by rubber sheathing that comes off. The reality is the hair thick copper comes away from the terminals and the lock is useless. Not worth the money...very poor product.
