Imaginative mysteries, as good now as they were decades ago.The language is simple, easy to read, and quite suitable for 10- 11 yr boys and girls.

Tracked these down for my son. I read them as a child and had hoped that they would have the same impact on him as they did on me. Not quite sure if that's the case as yet as I'm still reading them :))) but I can confirm that they are still are great read.From an almost innocent age when electronic toys were pretty non existent (ie the 70's) and when reading was a favoured pastime!Great service and prompt delivery from the States - cheaper than I could source here in the UK.

Excellent set of books which will appeal to all boys from 9 to 14. Very nicely presented too.

Lovely set of books about two brothers who solve mysteries. These are the first 5 books in the series. The box set itself is really lovely, traditional artwork on the covers, and all hardback, which I hadn't been expecting. My 10 year old son is enjoying these stories.

Brought as a Christmas present for our 12 year old nephew, he may or may not start reading them immediately as the computer takes priority, but we hope he will enjoy them and that they will help him discover the joy of reading. Each book has the original illustrations,which will appeal to his love of 'vintage'. Delivered on time and securely packaged.

I've chosen this product because when I was a kid, I loved reading the same five books that were in this starter set. I've lost the ones I had, so I ordered them.Soon, I'll order the others I do not know (60?), individually.

Bought for my grandson for his birthday. Hopefully he will get as much enjoyment from these books as I did as a kid.
