Consider sizing.
----------Written Nov 7, 2011I have a bodyfit Tee-200 and longsleeve-150, both in a medium, and they are base-layer fit, meaning on my skin, showing my mini-stomach bulge and all. After reading these reviews, I ordered a SMALL of the 260, and even still, it's a bit loose. Strange, since they list it as a base layer and it's thin enough. But it's all fine, as is, I'd probably wear a T shirt or something else under this. This is a piece that I could definitely wear to an urban social gathering without looking too sportsy or German-art-band-ish.Frickin love icebreaker.----------UPDATE Nov 2, 2012It's so interesting to read my above review. This very same 260, bodyfit piece, is now TOO tight to wear anything underneath it. I literally LIVED in this piece of clothing for all of last winter. My wife hates it, because "in all my pictures, I'm wearing the same clothing." Well, she's right. But, that's what makes it so cool! Anyway, back to the issue. I accidentally shrunk a 150-longsleeve by washing in too-warm water. Ever since, it's only cold water from the faucet for these pieces, and I usually wash by hand.Despite this, this piece has ever-so-slightly shrunk to the point where it can no longer be a daily-wear. Still great, but I can only see myself using it for actual outdoor winter sports, rather than my second skin.FYIOver the summer, I bought a large 320, simliar item, to wear over button-down shirts. It's a big baggy on me.I'm about 160lbs or so, 5'8". Medium build.

The perfect base layer
Having used several Australian merino wool thermals (from Snowgum and Kathmandu), I was interested to see the hype about the IceBreakers my friend was raving on about. He told of a story of a man who spend a month hiking Mount Everest wearing IceBreakers and not only did it keep him warm, his thermals didnt even smell after a month of using them. I was sold.I am a size 32 pant, usually a Medium shirt size guy. Using the website sizing chart, I originally ordered a Medium but in reality it was loose on the skin, I had to return it for a Small, and it was a perfect snug fit on the skin. So definately go one size down when ordering. My first impression was that it was extremely light and a little thin, but you can feel that that the material being New Zealand merino wool, it was very warm.I used the bottoms as my only underlayer on my first day in Whistler, and I was comfortable the entire time!and it doesnt even smell after a 3 day back to back session!I used the Tech Top with one more layer (long sleeve Burton shirt) and then my Snowboard jacket and it was getting warm at times.I found it works best when it is the only layer touching the skin.Honestly, Im thinking about throwing away all my thermals and just keeping one pair of IceBreaker 260's.Hope this review helps!

So far so goos. Runs big!!!! Get one size smaller than your normal size.
Thank you to all previous reviewers that posted their size. From that advice I ordered small... Though scared because I usually wear medium. I'm am. 5'7 and 150 lbs. small is perfect. Not overly roomy, not snug. Just right. Length and sleeves perfect. Bought it for cold weather biking... Like 45-55 f. I'll review that later. But today I wore it for the first time. It's not really warm when doing nothing... But not cold... However when I got a little active today it was really keeping heat in. I had the shed my outer sweatshirt... So I'm thinking it will really retain heat. Not sure of sweating in it yet. Price seemed high, but reviews were excellent. Taking it out of the box is un impressive, feels like a cheap old pajama top. But I am SURE there is more to it.... I'm anxious to try it biking. I'll updAte this then. It is a little ... Very little scratchy around the neck when zipped all the way up. Maybe that will go away After first wash. So far... So good.

material great, cut too small/short
i love icebreaker clothes, and in the tech t shirts and long sleeve shirts i had previously gotten a large, an xl, and an xxl, and could wear any of them just fine (i'm 6'3" 220lbs). this one appears to be cut shorter down the torso and tighter around the chest than the others - i later got an xl that i can now wear skiing, as it's great layer for warmth, but cannot wear any other time because it's too tight/short. my own fault, because i know they run a little small, but this was smaller than most. even the xl barely reaches my waist - still, all told, i'd buy again, but would only get the largest size. would be nice if sizes were consistent across their products.

Good baselayer
Nice and warm baselayer that is extremely quick to dry.I'm easily cold and this baselayer kept me warm when I threw it on under a thin cotton shirt and a windproof shell for a river cruise at slightly below 40 deg F.Only complaint is that it pills alot and sleeves run a little short, which causes the thumb loops to pull quite uncomfortably. If that bugs you, size up or don't use the thumb loops (which is what i'm doing)

The oven top.
I recently purchase this product for a trip to Mt.Rainier I'm taking next month. The product is a nice fit except for being a bit short at the waist. The sleeves are plenty long and the half zip makes for good ventilation. This top is ridiculously warm! The material is super thick. It's a bit more weight than I like to carry but if you have any doubts about being warm this product will quell them. Overall great product for warmth.

A fantastic shirt with fragile thumbholes
I've owned two of these shirts. They are warm, fit well, and feel great, but there is one fatal flaw that prevents me from recommending the Bodyfit 260 Tech Top to others: its thumbholes fall apart. I'm generally pretty careful with my laundry, but for whatever reason both the original shirt AND the replacement I bought suffered the same fate shown in the attached photo. I really want to love this product (the thumbholes are fantastic when they're new!), but it just doesn't last as long as I'd like.

Super Pulli
Sehr schönes Stück. Wärmt hervorragend. Kann problemlos in die Machine. Sieht sehr modisch aus. Muß nicht so häufig gewaschen werden. Schnelle Lieferung. Umtausch in andere Größe klappte hervorragend!
