The product description says it can be used for headlinings. Has anyone tried it? Does the glue show through the headlining fabric?

Used it to reattach headlining in car. I was concerned that glue would show through but it didn't. Comes out as strands of sticky white streaks. You can slide it into position but you have to be quick. And it certainly sticks. I am still trying to get it off my hands. Must wear gloves in future.

You could try it. It is made mainly for sticking thin carpet/lino/veltrim to wooden panels in campervans/caravans, so may be man enough for the job.

What area does one can cover when sticking camper van interior stretch carpet lining?

Not sure on that one but would imagine about 3sq mts
