Bayou Classic5235 Orifice Connector Brass

I had to repair a bayou style cooker. Regulator and hose needed to be replaced. Original hose had the orifice pushed in as part of a barbed fitting. I had to either cut new hose and risk ID's might not be the same or find a new fitting. Not cutting a new hose. This fitting was perfect to mate with standard hose setups with 1/8mpt for the burner sides. Works great, nice blue flame on my 4" burner. By the way, some of the regulator and hose setups on Amazon come with a fitting that looks similar, but there is no orifice in the fitting. Not what you need for a bayou style burner.

I bought this for the DuraSteel burner I ordered because of the frequently ordered together at the bottom of the screen thinking I would need it. Well don't fall for that. You don't. All I needed for the burner was the hose and regulator, a 6 inch x 3/4 nipple and brass compression reducer. A little pipe dope and that was it. This was not needed or ever will be needed. This is a gas orifice that goes to a burner manifold. Again not needed for the Durasteal burners. Save your money for what you really need.

I had bought an Ancheer single burner. When I received it this part was broken and the box had a hole in it. I looked for a long time for the replacement part the seller was no help so I was on my own. I finally found a picture with the orifice turned to see the smaller end so I would know if it looked the same. Anyway we ordered several brands and sizes, this is the one that was perfect. So happy to find it. My only suggestion would be to add more photos from different angles and maybe measurements.

Used this to convert a BG10 burner from Propane to Natural Gas. I could have drilled the orifice that came with it, but I didn't want to risk ruining the original. If you're doing the NG conversion, start drilling with a very small size increase, try the orifice using your gas line, and drill again if it doesn't work until you find a size that works. It's far easier to increase the orifice size than to decrease it. If you go even one step past your target, you'll be waiting another 2 or 3 days on shipping.

Used it for an outdoor fryer. Lasted 15 months, then broke. Started leaking at the seal immediately following the black knob which tightens the hose to the propane tank.

Just what I needed to attach my gas line to my turkey fryer burner! Multiple brick and mortar stores were not able to provide this simple part! Thank you!
