Totally worth it for light etch marks
Kept my expectations low as this was my first time, disaster-managing a marble coffee table at my rental apartment.I had nasty etch marks on 2 corners of the table from wine bottles after a Christmas party and for months, it looked dreadful against the light.I followed the instructions of the kit closely (quite easily) and am really happy with the results!Time to hunt for coasters now.

Cleaned away my acid burns easily
I'm amazed and so pleased. I put a pumpkin on my marble/granite? hearth a few years ago and not realising that acids corroded it, I was left with a circular burn. Over the years when dusting it's got worse as the dust went into the burn highlighting the problem more.I came across this on YouTube and followed the link.I cannot believe that it's gone after years of unsightly burns. I can't seem to get it as highly polished as it was (maybe not enough elbow grease). This was slightly noticeable with a plain fireplace, but now I've got my ornaments etc back on it, the shadows etc may this unnoticeable so I haven't bothered trying again like I was going to.So so pleased about this miracle stuff.

It actually worked!
Had low expectations but this completely removed a very noticeable etch mark caused by lemonade on my honed Carrera marble worktop. I just used a little of the powder on a damp cloth rather than the pads provided and it’s as if the mark was never there. Very pleased.

Good abrasive pads let down by disastrously bad polishing powder
As the headline, the abrasive pads themselves are very effective & easy to use. Just need patience & elbow grease to cut back the surface. However all the good work of the pre polishing was almost destroyed when I poured the final white polishing powder on to the surface...it was such poorly ground powder that there were many bits of sharp stone of various sizes mixed in with the powder. I thought it was just lumps of powder at fist & tried to dissolve them. But no. Imagine rubbing builders sand into your prepared marble top & you get the idea how bad this powder was. So will have to buy powder separately....

It works for the correct problem
I have tried previously with similar products but this removed etch marks (wine glass shaped) and yellow stains. It also removed scratches on black marble that I made when I accidentally used the wrong tool. Technique is everything , watch videos and get the paste consistency right use plenty of powder and rinse correctly. I found paper towels to be useful. Have patience and keep going, as the mark goes expand the area to ensure an even transition to none marked areas. on one light coffee table I worked hard with the finest pad (very pale green/turquoise) but I had to use two stronger grades to remove scratches on black marble, gradually finishing with turquoise. I just used damp paper towel and a teaspoon of powder to bring back the mirror finish.

Does the job, recommended!
Ruined my marble sink top by spilling some acidic cleaner on it, I spent months trying to figure out how to get rid of the rough ugly mark which would grate against my sponge when cleaning and had pretty much given up.This smart little kit really does the job!.You need to follow the instructions, it involves a lot of scrubbing/elbow work, I would give each step a good 3mins and pile on the pressure with your hand. Took me two attempts as I started off with the milder grit #400 first time round. I am very happy with the result looks as good as new!
