I didn't do these 3 things In the installation and it's too late after installing my heavy 25K btu unit. 1. Put rubber washers between this frame and the wood frame wall to help dampen the roaring sound like a Boeing aircraft from the a/c start up vibrations. 2. File down the RAZOR SHARP edges of the frame. I didn't cut my hand I used gloves and installed rubber edging over the edges later such a pain. 3. Once you installed this frame the top horizontal pieces are extremely flimsy almost dangerious even with two people trying to balance this so put two horizontal unistrut pieces over the top for the unit to sit on will help in securing it and line the mounting holes up makes it so much easier. The fourth thing I was able to install but with difficulty even with two people lifting the unit is to buy sound absorbing rubber mounts. It took away 80% of the roaring 747 coming in for a landing in my livingroom. If I would have googled the recommendations earlier of not to mount on wood frame wall if you don't have to I certainly would not. I should have put it on the ground. I now have to live with a distant low Boeing coming in and in California I have to train myself that this is not an earthquake precursor. The mounting feet of the Pioneer unit I bought is not flat and this frame being flimsy you have to be cautious. Look at the before picture the frame is buckling from the weight,.. too flimsy.
