I love!
I love this notebook! The b5 is perfect for me, and the lay flat design actually does lay flat! The paper is lovely and light but also smooth, and I’m left handed and write with a rollerball. v. Little smudging, although that likely my choice of pen/ink. The book itself is quite light. I recommend!

Absolutely fantastic
Great notebook! The paper is really pleasant to wrote on and the lines aren't too dark that they over power anything written in pencil. It's also light weight despite being large so it's easy to carry around everyday.10/10 will be buying another when this one is finished, as well as keeping an eye out for more of their products.

Not suitable for delivery without packaging!
These notebooks are brilliant but…a £30 notebook was delivered in supplier packaging only - a very thin film only that split resulting in dirt on the item and the notebook itself damaged just from landing on a corner on the floor through my letterbox. Not using additional packaging is a great if the item is protected.

Excellent quality paper in a very good notebook
I've been buying several notebooks recently, most of them made with Tomoe River paper, so let me make this clear at the start ..........The Stalolgy paper isn't quite as good as TR but it's pretty close in quality. There, I could probably stop the review right now ........My usual practice is to test a page at the back of a new notebook for writing properties and I only use fountain pens to write with. I used a range of nibs, from M to BB and OBB and with one exception (a 1.1mm stub inked with Iroshizuku fuyu-gake) there was no show-through and absolutely no bleed-through.Most of the pens are currently inked with Iroshizuku although the test pens also contained Montblanc, Sailor and De Atramentis inks. (What can I say? I tend to keep quite a few pens inked at any one time :) ) There wasn't quite as much shading as I'd expect to see on Tomoe River but the inks all looked good, with true colours, and drying times seemed to me to be slightly faster than on TR paper.I've recently discovered my perfect notebook, which is reviewed elsewhere. But this one contains good quality paper, a lot of pages, and has a decent soft cover. It doesn't lay flat easily although a bit of pressure on the spine should resolve that, and it doesn't contain niceties such as elastic closure, ribbon marker or a back pocket. What it does do is offer a lot of good quality pages (did I already mention that?) at a good price. Highly recommended.
