Brabantia Replacement Washing Line, 65m

I have a four sided outdoor washing airer which required a completely new washing line. This kit was brilliant, came with all the accessories required to refit the airer, good clear instructions and there is also a video to watch if you require guidance for the fitting. Highly recommend.

Purchased this after reading the reviews.The line is good value, good quality and easy to cut.You do need to read the instructions carefully and take you time.I started from the inside and worked outwards,the tentioners are fiddly but I found if you don't put the ends into the holders until you have fully adjusted the tention it's easier.It might have taken a while to complete but it saved me ££

Good replacement line and glad it was bigger than I needed because I can use the rest when the animals eat it again.

Very pleased with the replacement washing line it is very good value for money just need to put it on my rotary dryer hope it isn’t too difficult

Luckily I spotted this item for replacing a broken clothes line , was about to spend a lot on a new clothes dryer complete approx £140 so extremely pleased , it's original manufacturer item as well , quite easy to do but read the instructions carefully

Clips work well but a bit fiddly

The line is the same as the original, i.e. multi-strand fiber with plastic sheath.It takes a little bit of re-adjusting (& time) to get each line tension just-right, i.e. not too tight and not too slack.The plastic tensioning clips are very effective and easy to use, (just route the cable as in the picture)

We have a Hozelock rotary airer of considerable vintage but it is light and well made so when the line broke for the third time and my wife said to throw it out, I went to Amazon for a new line. All the reviewers mentioned Brabantia most favourably so I gave it a go. The results are excellent and the line is better than the original, since it has a textured finish which helps the pegs to grip. I did not use the clips which came in the pack but didn't expect to. Further to tips from other reviewers, I would add the followilng ; Take plenty of pictures incase you get confused but do sketches of the fixing pionts showing the line directions if like the Hozelock, it is a continuous line but fixed to one of the struts at each level. Also, since the coil is 60 meters long and you undo all the ties as you proceed, DO NOT DROP IT! I did and had to spend half an hour undong the knitting before starting all over. Unroll 10 or 15 meters a time and retie the roll before you do more threading. Its a pain but worth it.
