Works in Quartus Programmer
I've used this to program MAX II CPLDs made by Intel. Using the Quartus programmer tool, it works fine. Maybe a bit slower than the £300 alternative but I'm happy with it.

Works just as well as the official £200 usb blaster.
I've used these on a variety of altera devices and flash. It even worked in JTAG mode when I was debugging a design with signal tap.

excellent value for money
Does what it says on the tin. Had no problems with it.

Quite small and easy to use.
Quite small and easy to carry, works a treat, it meat my expectations.

Did not work for me.
The supplied cable was an insanely tight fit on both the board and the USB device. Apart from the fear I was going to destroy the connector, it also could not establish a connection past the blaster to the board, so although it is inexpensive it also loses points, for not working at all.

Okay but...
Okay, but cheap and poorly manufactured ribbon cable could ruin your day. 3 out of the 10 ribbon cables failed.
