I wanted to have my Panasonic DAT player in my rack, buts its not rack mountable. This shelf worked absolutely perfectly.

I had a 6U 14” depth rack and ideally I want 3 shelves at 12-13” deep. This light duty vented rack shelf solves the problem. The only downsides are that assembly is required and the screw heads on the sides that are part of the assembly do sit out a bit proud so some shelves may require a little finesse depending how full the rack is. Overall these look nice for the price and are a solid light duty 2u shelf in the 12” range if you have a small rack that needs them.

This shelf is just ok, doesn't hold what it stated in the listing and bent easily with not much of load on it - very disappointing

This Cantilever server rack shelf is a nice solid addition to my home lab. Strong, a good coating and vented, this shelf is holding up 2 mini computers, 4 portable HDDs and a RDX drive with a set of cartridges.The unit arrived well packaged with basic instructions, all hardware and a small wrench. Despite the ease of assembly and solid feel, 2 stars were deducted because the mounting screw heads add a few millimeters of width to the shelf. This doesn't allow for a smooth insertion between mounting rails on a rack. One has to angle the shelf in so the screws can clear the rails, then twist down to seat the shelf inbetween them.
