100% worthwhile and painless to install.
These are great and help tremendously. I have installed these in 4 printers that were all suffering from inconsistent print quality and most frustratingly hotend/heatbreak pla jams. This gear gives the grip needed to maintain extrusion rate during rapid heat changes such as bridge fan speed overrides which can unintentionally cool the nozzle just enough to cause a fluidity change in the melted filament. In my case when this scenario happened with the stock gear it was a 50/50 shot if that brief change in resistance would result in ground filament that could no longer be fed. No longer an issue with these gears. I can also use more aggressive retraction settings without slipping. One thing I noticed was that the hole in the new gears were all slightly off center. This caused no issues that I am aware. I am not sure if this is manufacturing flaw or an intentional design feature as I could certainly make the argument that the off center hole allows a small amount of variation in pressure on the filament per rotation potentially increasing the opportunity to bite well before grinding the filament flat.

Very nice.
These wheels fit perfectly into the Mk8 and a "Modified" Mk8 extruder with minimal impact to volume calibrations. Beyond the perfect fit, I don't think that these wheels will ever wear. I've worn grooves in several of the OEM style brass wheels leading to undependable extrusion. These are hard, sharp, and have a wonderfully "grabby" surface finish that works well across all the filaments that I have fed through my printers.I will be purchasing several more, not to replace the ones that I have installed, but rather as quick-fixes for other people's printers that exhibit irregular prints for no good reason -- I added one into an otherwise well-performing printer and was amazed to see smoother print output where none was expected.

Maybe not the best, but decent and functional
They definitely work, but the metal is a bit soft, which suggests cheap, so we’ll see how long they last. Some reviewers have suggested they’re getting used gears, but they just seem to have little nicks in them, probably from rubbing against one another prior to shipping. You get four of them, so it’s not a bad deal, but some buyers may want a nicer gear. These have sharp teeth though, so as long as the gear stays clean it won’t slip.

Printer runs better than ever
These cut steel gears bite deeper into the filament than the cast brass gear that came with the printer. I've had no skipping issues since I installed it. Installed on CR-10S, Ender3 and Monoprice Maker Select Plus. Printed PLA, PETG and TPU.

Great Upgrade for Carbon Fiber Filament on A8.
These were a great upgrade to my Anet A8 printers. I had been printing a lot of carbon fiber PLA and NylonX parts and my prints started failing with what I at first thought were plugged nozzles. After more failed prints I finally found that the catbon fiber in these filaments had worn a groove in my original brass extruder gears. These gears seem to be of very high quality and you can feel.the sharpness of the teeth. No failed prints since I put these on last week. I'll update my review after a few months of use to comment on any wear issues with CF.

Good duplicator 6 replacement.
Perfect replacement for wanhao duplicator 6 drive wheel. Much sharper teeth that factory gear, cuts in good and drives good. No recalibration needed, at 99.8% of original wheel size.

Good quality part
These work great. The tooth profile grips the filament well without chewing the plastic up. The steel gears themselves hold up well with traditional filament and abrasives alike. Installation was simple, busy drop in, tighten, and go. No complaints.

Still working!
I bought this for my printer that prints with carbon fiber filament. All the other drive gears wear down after a bit and I decided to give these drive gears made out of tool steel a try. So far, so good.
