Alpine SWT-12S4 Car Speakers, Black

At first I thought this will not sound the best, after connecting it in the house for a couple weeks slowly breaking it in I put this in the car and my oh my this sounds brilliant, built strong and the bass punch and lows are great; don’t listen to others saying it’s no good, it’s not a competition sub but believe me will rock your car and flex your panels :)

Great sub connected it up yesterday to a pioneer amp and sounds fab. You don’t need anything else but this unless competing. Yes it’s big but that helps deliver the thumping bass. Build is good, and looks awesome. Thoroughly recommend.

Running it on a 1000 watt peak old halfords monoblock amp and its basstastic! Nice full range from 200hz to 35hz ish I dont think your going to find anything better at this price point ( paid 80 quid open box ) even full price. I suspect a better amp would yield even better results. A must for bass heads with hatchback or flat back style wheels.

This unit is pretty damn big! Make sure it will fit where you want it to! This taken into account it looks great, feels good and sounds good for the money. Of course what you get out of it semi comes down to the amp you link it to so keep this in mind, don't skimp out out some cheap Chinese knock off amp and it will let the sub down.

Bought various subs over 20 years and for pound for pound this is the best, no rattle, crisp deep sounds, what more do you want for just over a 1er. Just make sure you have a good amp as useual. I rum 600w though it and its plenty. Great buy

Alpine is the only company out there with a Stream Lined round 12inch Base Tube. It is the only 12" enclosure that will fit under the Bow Of My 1979 Ski Nautique Barefoot Boat. I only have 13" of Width, and only 28" in length, this tube is 12" in circumference (12"Round) and 26" in Length.....it is the only item that will Squeeze under the Bow....of my Boat, as far as the enclosures quality looks Good, although if a High Quality dual voice coil 2 ohm 12" Driver replacement is installed, The enclosure might eventually fail, But the 4ohm Alpine 12" driver the enclosure comes with will not damaged the enclosure. I am going to run it at 400 watts RMS, with a Primo Massive Audio Mono Block P2000.1 Alpine suggests 300 Watts RMS, Maxing out at 400 watts RMS. I will eventually remove the Alpine 12" driver and replace it with a Scar Audio EVL 12", Dual Voice coil, 2ohm driver, and will strengthen the Tube when the Original Alpine driver is removed, and install small pieces of Plywood glued next to the Alpine factory front tube supports, and a couple for the rear of the tube enclosure, But that is for later, I plan to run The Alpine Driver for all she is worth, until that factory Alpine driver gives up. HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG WITH THIS ENCLOSURE, USE IT TILL SHE STARTS CRACKLING, THEN REMOVE THE FACTORY DRIVER, STRENGTHEN THE INTERIOR OF THE TUBE, INSTALL A 2ohm DRIVER LATER ON. The exterior, and carpet, speaker connections, and Ported Hole all look well engineered, as far as the Chinese workmanship, and construction, only time will tell, Installing in a 1979 Ski Nautique Barefoot Boat, the Enclosure and it's Driver will not get used nearly as much as Someone's daily driver vehicle.....Hope this Helped, Nor Cal Vince.

Queda muy bien en el maletero, no pierdes tanto espacio como con una caja cuadrada, suena muy potente, yo he tenido que aislar todo el maletero porque vibraban mucho los paneles, es tan potente que casi nunca subo el volumen mas de la mitad, he usado amplificador alpine mono de 330w RMS y todo genial.

Stor o klumpig o dåligt att basen inte skyddas av en nät annars bra .

Awesome, Little Bigger for a SUV , but performance is mind blowing
