It’s quick absorbing and non greasy. Great product - would buy again. It leaves my skin feeling super clean and fresh. Totally recommend!

I've been a fan of Weleda Skin Food ever since the first time I bought a small tube and used it to treat chapped corners of my mouth. I've smeared the stuff on my face at night before because I love and trust it, even though it's really a bit thick for that business.Well, along comes this day cream! Important question straight out of the pot: does it smell like Skin Food? By golly, yes it does! It smells good. And, being conceived as a facial moisturizer for daytime use, the stuff goes on a bit easier and feels less sticky than regular Skin Food.I wasn't a big moisturizer person before, but as I've gotten older my face has been feeling dry. This is a nice moisturizer to treat that. It does make my face look a little shiny, which I'm not sure I love, but I don't think it's the biggest deal in the world. I'm happy to have my Skin Food.

I like the price and ingredients. The cream is moisturizing and almost melts into your skin like a gel. I put makeup on over it, it’s pretty lightweight. I think it would depend on the amount of lotion you put on and how dry your skin is. I am halfway through the first jar and I’ve noticed softer skin, reduced fine line appearance. I also am using the brand’s lotion for night time. For the sake of ingredient safety and testing, I think I’ll stick with this. I am pretty confident in this brand—been using skin food for several years and have on subscription.

The cream itself is great, I’ve spent plenty on luxury face creams but just didn’t see the point anymore. I have separate products with active anti-aging/brightening ingredients so all I need is a good moisturizer to layer. This cream is great for this purpose.The only thing I’m not happy about is this is now my second day cream order and there is a consistent quality control issue. After removing the seal I found a giant air pocket, leaving me with far fewer ounces of product than I paid for. I requested a replacement be sent (and annoyingly am still required to go through the hassle of returning the original) which arrived today with the same air bubble issue.So between the two jars I have an estimated total 2 ounces of face cream for $50. Sure, that’s less expensive than my favorite luxury cream ($75 for 1.7oz) but 1) I’m not happy that $12 of that total was for a couple air bubbles, 2) I don’t feel good about double the plastic waste to get what I needed.And of course, the $12 loss is just low enough to not want to waste my time with another return and another trip to an Amazon return drop off. Well played, Weleda.Nice product but since it’s nothing special, has a quality control issue, and returns for defective products are a burden on the customer, I’ll be looking for new options when this cream starts to run out.

I am allergic to cosmetics and I have problems with choosing a cream. This one has not caused any allergies so far.
