Great product! I'm glad I picked this.
I'm very pleased with this. The size is perfect, and it's light. Would have been better if it has a temperature control, but straighteners of this size mostly have just one temperature, even the more expensive ones like ghd. I considered getting the micro Cloud Nine, but I'm glad I went with this because of the size. It's small and less than 1 inch width plates, perfect for my just-above-shoulders hair length, but it's not too small to the point you can only use it for your fringe. There are a few things I didn't like much, but then you get what you pay for. It's still a brilliant product for this price. Also, I just received this today, and just tested it straightaway, so I can't comment on its durability.Summary:The things I love about it:1. Price2. Light weight - perfect for travelling5. Easy to use3. Size is perfect. Not too big, not too small4. Easy glide on hair, no pullingThe things I didn't like much:1. No temperature Control2. No pouch or heat resistant mat3. No lock to keep it closed for easy storage

Nice sized straighteners
I usually have a large pair of GHDs for my hair, but trying to do my shorter bangs and fringe are a nightmare. Also due to their size they are not ideal for travel, so I wanted a smaller pair of straighteners but also since these would be only for fringes etc I didn't want to pay the price of a set of GHDs, so just wanted something reliable but also cheaper.I saw these on offer in the warehouse deal & snapped them up since they are reasonably priced and also a known brand. I have not been disappointed - they do the job perfectly. They are easy to hold without getting too hot - lightweight, and you can get to the power switch easy enough without burning your fingers, unlike some other designs. They have a red LED light which indicates they are on.The downsides - no indication when they are at temperature - no bleep or flashing light, like some other products. Also, they do not have a safety cut off if left plugged in. The cord is also quite short so you need to have a mirror close to the socket, which for traveling can be a pain. Not expecting them to have all the features of a high priced product but just so you are aware in case any of these is a deal-breaker for someone else.Ideal product for those with short hair or those wanting a travel product. Very happy with it.

Left Babyliss nano: Right Toni and Guy
Who writes the product descriptions for these items.. could they be more wrong!! There is nothing compact about these straighteners, they are basically full size and heavy too. The temperature is NOT variable, it's either off or on at 210 degrees. They are not suitable for proper pixie short hair; there is so much chunk at the sides I can't get near my roots to give my short hair body, I just can't get my hair into it really as my hair is too short. I really liked the Babyliss ones which I've used for years but they broke and they were always a bit dodgy with the connection right from the start (something badly connected in the plug which you cannot open to repair), so that's why I decided to choose a different brand as I was annoyed that I couldn't repair my old ones. Okay so the positives on the Toni and Guy straighteners: The plates seem to close together properly. They heat up very quickly. If you are used to the biggest straighteners and need slightly smaller ones for some reason I suppose these would be good. If you've got maybe a chin length bob layered or not and your hair is quite fine these might be a good choice. I don't know if they are good at straightening as I can't really clamp them onto my hair. Anyway I'm either going to get the Babyliss ones again or maybe get some of those pencil straighteners. Hope this helps someone make the right choice for them.

Great travel accessory
Bought these as a pair of travel straighteners and they are so much better than I thought they would be. Straightened hair as good as my ghd's.

Not in love with it
I had previously bought the waver and curling iron and was blown away by them, both amazing, great heat, sleek hair with lovely shine. The straighteners does not stand up to them. They don’t reach a great temperature, I have straight hair already and use the straighteners daily for my fringe, but I found myself having to keep doing it several times a day instead of my usual once, I also have just a small kink at the bottom of my hair and they did nothing for it. Will be going out buying the old cheap ones I bought from lidl years ago.

Larger than expected
So it start, I'm really happy with this - I bought it to replace my old, broken mini hair straightener that I use for my fringe. However, it's much larger and also a bit heavier than the one I'm replacing (the joy of shopping online and not instore). That said, it heats up well, it holds the hair really well and the larger plates mean I can do bigger sections faster than my old one, and I could probably do all my hair with a bit of patience, which wasn't an option with the old one. It's not what I was expecting, but I'm honestly still pleased with and I guess I'll just have to watch my luggage allowance a bit more closely in the (eventual) future.
