Very cute light.
Light works well, it is very cute. Only a couple of issues that aren't a deal-breaker. The electrical cord hangs from it and mounting it on a wall leaves the cord dangling down the wall, unless you place it to where there is something to hide the cord dropping down. Looks a little cheap aesthetically but, looks much better when lit up. Still, my son loved it and we was able to place it in his room and make it look good. The little wand works!

This Harry Potter Hogwarts Crest Lamp is a fantastic and interactive addition for any fan of the series. The wand sensor works impressively well, allowing you to turn the lamp on and off without needing to be right next to it, adding to the magical experience. The lighting is just right for nighttime use—bright enough to serve as a soft, ambient glow for late-night reading or relaxation, yet dim enough that it won’t obstruct sleep, making it a great nightlight option.However, there are a few downsides. Both the wand and the lamp require batteries, which isn’t a dealbreaker but would be more convenient if it had a rechargeable option. The biggest issue is the wall mounting mechanism, which could use a redesign. The lamp does not stay securely in place for extended periods, and unfortunately, mine fell multiple times, eventually cracking. This led to me having to purchase a second one, which was frustrating. If you plan to mount it, I highly recommend using stronger adhesive strips or additional mounting support to prevent it from falling.Despite this flaw, the lamp itself is a fun, well-designed piece that brings a touch of Hogwarts magic into your space. If you’re a Harry Potter fan and looking for a unique nightlight, this is still a great choice, just be mindful of how you secure it!
