I only needed one adapter, but bought this twin pack as it was cheaper than the next cheapest single one. It also gave me some confidence that even if one was broken, I'd still have a working one. That was, in fact, what happened. The first one I plugged in didn't work, but the second did. I didn't bother returning them, as ultimately I only needed one, but if you need two, be aware that you may not get 2 functioning adapters.

High quality connector for what is peanuts to buy.I use it to interface a HDMI lead so that I can use my BeagleBoard Black embedded Linux board on the same monitor as my main PC.Since I only have one HDMI port on my monitor, I used up the spare DVi port with this connector.I've dropped a star because the knurl, which helps finger tighten the plug into the monitor, is a little too much of a tight squeeze. It could do with a cross head in the plastic so a screwdriver can be gently used to tighten rather than fiddling up against the tight spaces on monitors in general.Else, I don't know why others have had such bad experiences. I recently bought a 19 inch Samsung tv but it did not have a HDMI port nor did it have a USB port so I decided to invest in these two little beauties and they have done the job I would recommend these to anyone and came earlier than expected which was a bonus I will definitely buy again from the seller

This is a good product and did exactly what was expected of it - converted an HDMI input to a DVI output.But for anyone who is not aware, "DVI" encompasses a variety of possibilities, including parallel digital and analogue signals. Some devices may have DVI inputs that require digital signals, some may require analogue signals and some may accept either.The output of this adapter is digital only.I needed this adapter to connect to a projector where the DVI input will work with either digital or analogue signals and it worked well.I also have a monitor with a DVI input that requires an analogue signal and will not work with a digital signal only through that input. Unsurprisingly, this adapter did not work at all with that monitor. Not the adapter's fault. But something anyone buying this adapter needs to be aware of . . . check what your DVI device actually needs!

Needed these to convert some older monitors with DVI inputs only to HDMI. They worked a treat and arrived quickly for a bargain price.

Worked fine but note that, on a lot of systems, this will not carry audio.

Does what I need to.I've got 2x DVI monitors, but the GPU in my work PC has 1x DVI + 1x HDMI. Obviously a DVI cable will only be suitable for 1 of those monitors.Used 1 of these with a HDMI cable, worked right away.

Works perfectly to connect PC with DVI port to projector with HDMI port. Only needed one but ordered this 2 pack as it was cheap and gives me a spare. As good as more expensive alternatives in my experience. No hesitation recommending
