Update to previous post -- i *love* this doorknob. Installed it about a month ago (easy installation), and so far it is better than advertised :-) It is used *many* times a day to let my sweet fur-baby in and out. Love the shape and color of it -- so pretty !! Very ergonomically friendly, can grip with ease. Good price, fast ship.

Needed to find two egg shaped oil rubbed bronze door pulls to match my existing Baldwin door pulls. These are identical in every way except Price.

Not as smooth as the previous ones I purchased

I am slowly replacing doorknobs around my home. These are handsome doorknobs at a good price with a little more character than traditional round doorknobs. I love the egg shape and they feel good in your hand. Decent quality.

I bought this to replace a similar locking door knob that I lost the key for. The problem I had during installation was the door latch shaft that goes into a round hole so you can mount the door knobs to both sides wasn't round like the one that it replaces. It had some additional metal the extended up and down preventing it from being pushed in the hole. I got a file and had to do about 10 minutes of filing on the door to make it pass through the hole. Once it was in, everything was fine but it wasn't nearly as simple of a replacement job as I thought it would be.

the egg shape knob is easy to use with arthritis. The knob does NOT have the full 1/4 turn to open door latch (about 1/8 turn) it does take a lot of time for me to adjust this difference.

I replaced all the knobs on my home with these. Really easy swap and they look great. Despite the price, they are high quality.

It was the wrong door knob and the wrong color as compared to the picture . Very disappointed !

This product gave me the look I was after at a reasonable price, the same style can cost way more. I did find it a little difficult to install - a you tube video came to my rescue:). If like me you need to remove the faceplate, I found you have to force it apart with the help of a scewdriver - I thought I was going to break it, but no, once separated it slides off easily. Ajusting the latch was also a little problematic but I managed it in the end. The instructions could be clearer in my opinion.So, overall for the price I think this is a very good option & I will probably buy again for other doors in the house.

I changed all the doorknobs in my house to the egg shaped ones and I've used keyed, passage, and privacy knobs. They are beautiful, easy to install, and good quality. I'm happy with every one of them. They are also good for arthritic hands.

I added a couple of doors and these were the best match for the existing oval/egg shaped handles already fitted. I search everywhere and these were the best and at a good price compared to a lot of others at most hardware stores. Once fitted they look great.
