Great addition to my exercise routine
I have sciatica and my back hurts and this roller is perfect to start my exercise routine with loosening up older knots, does making my exercise more enjoyable and more effectiveIt is indeed very lightweight but not flimsy it is sturdy and durableHowever if you need more deep tissue muscles this can be a bit too gentle. But if you are sensitive or just want to prepare your body for exercise it's great

Useful for stretching and toning exercises
I ordered this item in response to a physiotherapist prescribing various exercises to combat muscle spasm, lower back pain, sciatica and piriformis syndrome. This cylindrical polystyrene roller is a suitable aid to stretching and muscle toning exercises.

Does the job
Using specifically for knee strengthening exercises as I had a torn meniscus. Don’t go straight to this as had a lot of exercises to do before reaching that point.
