It does work for slicing lettuce etc. It's a bit small and as described, it's plastic. I don't think I would pick this up if I saw it in a store.

Would not waist money on this product...just sits in cupboard, unused

Like that it can cut the salads more efficiently. Trying to stay healthy and eat more veggies so this is very helpful.
