Motul 102981 C2 Chain Lube Road

Using this cain lube for the first time I have found it to be good, I’m using it on a new bike I have done 600 miles and lubed it twice, it doesn’t fling off easily so the back wheel is staying clean and it seems to be doing a great job of keeping the chain nicely lubed, I’m guessing because it’s quite sticky grit may stick to the chain but so far I have not noticed it! I intend to clean the chain before every 3rd application.

Great Item, Great Price & Great Delivery

I'm using Road lube for some two years now. It is sticky and does not spray itself away much like the Off-Road or Factory Line do. With good chain cleaner like Muckoff, it is easy to remove the lube and road dirt from the chain. Application is also supper easy and you have two options: a short or long nozzle, whichever works better for you. This only minus is when it gets on the alu wheels, it ... sticks very well too and collects all the dirt it can. When you use water and shampoo for cleaning, it will show up as black stains, very difficult to remove and the only way to clean it off of the rims is to use a chain cleaner, it sticks so well. If this is none of your concerns, then this is for me and so far the best stuff on the market.

I got this to use on my Yamaha XJ6 Diversion. I have used Motul engine oils before but this is the first time I tried their chain lube. I used to use Muc-Off stuff which I tended to get from Halfords but that makes an absolute mess of the back of the bike. My gold coloured rims had become pitch black from the rediculous amount of fling the Muc-Off lube produces. This on the other hand has been a revelation. It is much cleaner and stays much better on the chain than the old stuff ever did. I tend to do around 280-300 miles a week so going by manufacturer recommendations I have to normally lube the chain every 2 weeks. I didnt get the chance to do it last week but the chain still seems very well protected and hasnt been flinging gunk everywhere. In contrast with the previous brand, if I missed the 2 week routine, the chain would be noticeably bare. I realise this is almost as much a slagging off of Muc-Off as it is a positive review of this, but that was what I had to compare with. Overall I am very impressed with the Motul chain lube and would recommend it without reservation.

This is by far the best wet lube I have used. For some reason though delivery is now over £4 when it was free before which means it’s nearly £14 a can when it was £10 something before. Not sure what is going on there... Anyway onto the product. It’s the perfect formula. Sticky, but not too sticky. Little fling off, of course you are going to get some, I’m convinced there isn’t a lube that doesn’t fling, but it’s only on the back wheel so nice and easy to clean off every now and again with some degreaser. As I said it’s minimal Sticks nicely to the chain and stays on it. Your chain won’t be drying out. Certainly in dry weather anyway. The real test will be when I try this stuff in the rain. Hopefully it performs just as well because the chain wax I was using before made one hell of a mess

This is a seriously a good product! Not too heavy! I get this on a subscription and a cracking deal considering this a fairly expensive product!

Keeps the chain and sprocket looking clean and doesn't fling all over your frame, so far we'll pleased with this product.

meine Erfahrung mit dem Motul-Kettenspray ist wirklich positiv. Die Anwendung ist unkompliziert, das Spray lässt sich gut dosieren und es bleibt da, wo es hin soll, ohne großartig zu verspritzen. Meine Kette läuft damit leiser und fühlt sich nach der Pflege angenehm geschmeidig an. Auch nach ein paar Regenfahrten hält die Schmierung gut, ohne dass alles verklebt aussieht. Ich finde es für den regelmäßigen Einsatz am Motorrad echt praktisch, und es macht genau das, was es verspricht. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ihre Kette pflegen wollen und dabei auf zuverlässige Qualität setzen. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiter benutzen.

Este lubricante se ha convertido es mi opción favorita para mi Moto, por su alta protección en toda la cadena y por su resistencia a todo tipo de clima, pues donde yo vivo hay mucha humedad y la cadena se mantiene impecable frente al salitre y el agua durante mucho tiempo. También es totalmente invisible, ya que es incoloro, por tanto no deja esa pasta blanca antiestética, permitiendo que la cadena luzca siempre limpia. Lo que hay que tener en cuenta es que no es un producto que sea apto para coger la moto en el mismo momento puesto que el spray tarda al menos 20-30 minutos en secarse y poder utilizar la moto, y que no salpique el producto.
