CODE FFL Forget Fake Lashes 12ml

* Edit - I’ve updated with photos of each stage as this primer really works for me. Please excuse my no make up photos I have no eyebrows either!!🙈 I have really short, sparse and straight lashes and been obsessed for over 20 years with eyelash curlers, trying different mascara, primers and even fibres to try to make my lashes look ‘normal’. A lot of the products I’ve tried over the years have caused irritation to my eyes(I’m a contact lens wearer so need to be extra careful) or I’ve found my lashes look great from a distance but up close have gone clumpy. I’ve even found products that look great at the beginning of the day but then as the day goes on the lashes have flaked off in parts.. not a good look! I have only recently discovered this product from a make up tutorial online.. I’ve used it for about 3 days and my first impression is wow! It goes on quite dry which feels unusual but it means that it is so easy to build up without clumping. With this primer alone my lashes look longer, fuller and seem to hold the shape from the eyelash curler. I’ve added my usual mascara and my lashes definitely look better and the mascara glided over smoother than with my usual routine. I’m interested in ordering code beautiful’s mascara to see if that improves my lashes further. At the end of a long day I can confirm my mascara had not budged and lashes still looked lovely long and full without clumps. I’m impressed with the natural ingredients and interested to see if this primer improves the long term condition of my lashes. This mascara primer is now a must-have for me, I just can’t believe it’s taken so long for me to discover. Thank you code beautiful for actually making a product that does what it says it does xx

OH MY GOD! Just buy this for goodness sake!!!! I used to be a makeup artist and as much as I love applying fake lashes to others, I HATE applying them to myself. But now I don’t have to. This is SERIOUSLY good. No faffing. No fall out. No weird bits going everywhere. This stuff works. Just comb it through your lashes and then follow with your mascara. And you have THICK, LONG, LUSCIOUS lashes! The best bit is, people will just think you are blessed with these amazing lashes naturally! (Cumon ladies, we can all see when fakes are used! 🤔) but these make it look like you are naturally blessed with amazing lashes (I wish!) (Not to blow my own trumpet) but I was awarded with Best Wedding Makeup Artist in the SE of U.K. a few years ago and would totally recommend any brides looking for the ‘I’m just this friggin gorgeous’ look to get some of this. I’ve even put it on ‘Subscribe’ for goodness sake, it’s that good! The only downside is, it’s that good, I now don’t do without it which just adds another friggin step to my already overwhelming routine! Lol. Don’t let that put you off though. Go with it.

Amazing product - wish I’d known about it before. Will definitely buy again

I’ll admit I was really skeptic about this but as there were so many good reviews, and because I was at my wits end with my short lashes, I decided to risk it. After a very bad set of lash extensions I had done over 5 years ago which caused most of my lashes to fall out, I’ve been left with short and pale lashes which without makeup look practically invisible. So for years I’ve been having lash extensions (I found someone who actually applies them properly so no damage caused) but that became too costly, so moved on to lash lift and tint which I do love but again it’s a lot of money to spend every month to maintain them. So I thought I’d try something new. And I am so glad I did, this is brilliant! I really didn’t think it would be much good as it says it’s a dry formula, but I applied it the way it says to and within a minute my lashes were double the length and looked totally natural!! They weren’t clumpy or flaking off like I thought they might, instead they just looked long and pretty. I also bought the VLM mascara to use with it as I’ve been struggling to find a good replacement (I used to adore the Estée Lauder double wear volume and lift, but sadly they’ve stopped making that one, and even though they have another type with the same formula the brush is all wrong and clumps easily), and again I was worried about how a “dry” mascara could be any good but it’s excellent! I don’t think the mascara added any noticeable length but it certainly coated my now long lashes (thanks to this primer!) making them long gorgeously black. I’m not kidding when I say the combination of these two products really does look better than the lash extensions I used to get! They’ve got the same length and colour as false ones but still look so natural, no one would ever be able to tell that I’ve got this lash plumper on underneath the mascara. So, if you’re like me and absolutely hate how short and barely noticeable your lashes look, even with mascara on, then honestly try this (I would recommend using the VLM mascara too cuz I’m not sure if a wet mascara would just strip this off... it might be totally fine but I’d be afraid of the little fibres from this sticking to a wet mascara wand). Oh I should also add that it keeps my lashes looking beautiful all day!! Which for me is something very rare as other mascaras are too heavy and start weighing my lashes down after 5+ hours, whereas I’ve used so little of this and the VLM that it hasn’t happened! The only thing I can’t comment on is how waterproof it is as I’ve not cried whilst wearing it, but even if it does end up smudging I wouldn’t care tbh, it’s given me the length I wanted :)

Mine arrived today and I have just tried the formula out. Pretty much the same effect as a half-set of 'natural looking' eyelash extensions but at a fraction of the price. I noticed some reviews complaining that the product is dry but the seller does state 'WARNING: This mascara is drier than generic mascaras you may find on the market, this is not a bad thing! Trust us ;) DO remember to let the light brown formula dry for 30 seconds before applying your own mascara. It's also perfectly fine to use if you are a contact lens wearer. Update 7th May 2019. After using the CODE FFL a few times I wanted to mention that for me personally, I found the formula seemed to weigh my eyelashes down after a couple of hours so they did not half as good as when the product was initially applied. Also, I ended up with mascara panda eyes (smudging.) Because the Max Factor mascara I used always stays on with no smudging I can only assume this is the product flaking off from the eyelashes. A shame and for this reason I have taken away 2 stars.

Really good product and makes thinning eyelashes look thicker and longer.

Absolute rubbish! I’ve used this religiously every day and it’s not made a jot of difference. I have thin, sparse lashes which after reading the description etc I thought finally I’ve found something that works…. Nope! Didn’t do anything at all.. what a waste of money.

Love this! Being on the wrong side of 50 I've tried loads of expensive products that promise longer lashes but don't work. This goes on easily and with your mascara on top it does actually work.
