These light are great! Ordered a second set and have placed them in the corners of my front and back stairs. Mounting strips/ screw plates included but I did not need them. They give a surprising amount of light, are ok in the rain. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered the set of 6 lights. They were packaged well and seem to work as expected...all but 1 light. I tried various methods to get it to work and then decided to see about a replacement. I couldn't get just the one light replaced, so I repackaged all 6 and dropped at the UPS store (super simple) and then received the replacements in the mail.This is where the poor review comes in, the replacement lights were used. These lights come with screws or a double-sided foam sticker to hold in place. There were no screws, and the double-sided foam sticker was placed on the lights, and you could tell that these were a previously returned item. The fact that I got sent a box of previously used lights was enough for me to look for another seller.Attention to detail is important and before you asked, I checked to be sure that it was actually coming from the seller and not just something pulled in a warehouse...at least as best I could. :)UPDATE:I never received my good set of lights from Amazon after contacting them and so I saw on the Volisun card included in the box (wish I had read this sooner) that they wanted you to contact them with any issues and not work through Amazon. I emailed them and they were polite and responsive, and they sent me a new set of lights. I have changed my review to 4 stars as I wish I would have contacted them directly vs working through Amazon. Can't fault someone because I didn't read. :)

This product is much better than I expected! The solar lights fit nicely in the corners of my outdoor stairs. They are not only brighter than I expected, they last for hours when they turn on at dusk and fully charge the next day. I initially bought 1 box to see how the lights work. I was so impressed with the design, brightness and hours of operation, I bought 2 more boxes and placed lights on both sides of my stairs to enhance the lighting aesthetics and placed lights on the sidewalk around my house. Not only does it make it safer walking up and down stairs or walking on the sidewalk after dusk, these stair lights also create very asthenic outdoor lighting.

What an awesome idea! Lit the stairs up to our pool deck, had several left over and used them to light the stone steps onto the patio! Good bye to the low voltage lighting head ache! Obviously they charge all day and come on automatically shortly after dusk. Ours have run well into the wee hours of morning. No more kids or old folks stumbling on the stairs after dark! Great value for the money, 10 fold if you figure in cost savings involving low voltage systems.Very bright, our steps are 42” wide. One at the corner of the step and riser illuminates the whole step. Alternate left side /right side on every other step and it’s magic!

Trying to reach the seller as 1 of lights does not work and not even a year old. Looks like another 1 may stop working as it is dim after full sun all day. So 2 going in less than a year is disappointing. And we take all our solar lights in for the winter. Hoping for replacements as when they are all lit they look nice
