Using with a media converter to take the ethernet stream to fiber optic input on UpTone Audio EtherREGEN. Fiber optic is Singlemode Duplex Fiber LC to LC. Reduced phase noise prior to EtherREGEN. The result is audibly apparent in my system with music emerging from a deep dark background. This approach will improve streaming sources only. Definitely worth the effort for me to try this option.4 star rating only due to the fact I have not tried all SFP alternatives. The Finisar is the top dog for me until proven otherwise.
