Bought as part of present for Grandsons 9th birthday
It lived up to the photo. A nicely decorated Viking shield. Sturdy but light. The back as well made as the front it did look on the back as if it was made of wood. The two broad arm holds looked as if they'd stand up to a child's fairly rough treatment. It wasn't a ghastly plastic thing that some are.If you have an energetic child that loves dressing up and play acting then a good buy. He loved it as well as the other assorted gifts. It had a well made look about it. It arrived promptly too.

Viking shield is perfect size for kids, light weight it’s made of thick foam. Also has two sturdy Velcro straps on the back. Nice Nordic /Viking dragon picture on the front. Just what we need.Wouldn’t be big enough if it was for an adult costume.

Great design, safe and light
The sheild was purchased for an adults fancy dress party. The size is meant for an older child and in proportion, though this still worked well for an adult. Great design, light weight and quite safe.

Grandson loves it!
Matched perfectly with the outfit we bought for our Grandson’s Birthday. Lightweight so he can carry it easily, well made and it looks great.

This looks fabulous. It’s not going to actually deflect any axes, toy ones or otherwise, but it’s a good size with a great design and reasonably sturdy arm braces. Great for a prop for a kid’s costume.
