Q: What is the difference between this model 65141AMZ and the other 4 zone model 73280?

65141AMZ is the same as 73280, except that 65141AMZ comes with two extra QuickConnect pieces.

It doesn't have Bluetooth. You're probably referring to the running spigot animation that you'll see when it's watering.

Q: Can one or two valves be left on manual mode all the time? I need 4 outlets on 1 faucet but only 2 for timed watering.

Switching any zones to manual mode anytime you want is easy. I don’t have my zone 3 on a timed schedule and I use it to hand water my flower beds/pots. You simply hit the manual mode, select the zone and set the number of minutes and then hit ok and the water is released (so long as you have the faucet in the on position). This can be done on zones you have the time set for as well. Using the manual mode doesn’t interfere with that.

Q: how is it different than Melnor 65038-AMZ?

It's the same exact timer, but this one comes with the extra QuickConnect pieces instead of the extra filter washers.
