QacQoc GN28K Aluminium USB C Hub for MacBook Pro 2016 and 2017 (Black)

Fits very snugly and matches my Macbook Pro's space grey extremely well however the primary reason I purchased this was to be able to hook it up to my monitor. Of which it fails to do. The USBs and other ports work but if you are looking to use the HDMI connector I would steer away from this product.Tested multiple HDMI cables including one of my more pricier options, but nothing. Nada.UPDATE: They quickly contacted me and offered either a full refund or a replacement so I assume I was just unlucky with a faulty one. By this point I had already picked up an alternative as was in a hurry, so went for the refund, but the service was great regardless.

most devices that I plugged in did not work as the power supply is too low... Other than plugging in the occasional memory stick not much use. The card reader is not bad.

The fit is a little tight but it doesn't seem to cause any issues. If you're like me and you have the new MacBook Pro (without TouchBar) and you want to power 2 additional monitors, there a caveat to this hub. You can plug one monitor in using the HDMI but the other monitor must use the powered USB-C port meaning you cannot use 2 monitors and charge at the same time. One monitor and charge or two monitors no charge. Those are your options.

With just Type C Thunderbolt ports on the new Pro, this gadget is essential if you want to attach other USB kit such as a DSLR camera or SD cards and/or charge the laptop at the same time. Fits securely, is small and discrete, the space grey colour is a good match and has a nice tiny white light on the top surface when on. The ports seem a little stiff when first in use but disconnections just require a little care to prize them away.Nice small leather carrying pouch with a magnetic closer. Also supplied in a well made strong little cardboard box if that's what you prefer to travel with. Good value for what it does.

Great product, but not for me. So I returned it back, because I need apple superdrive and HDD with more than 2TB.

For less than half the price of the one sold in the Apple Store.

Well packaged and seems to do the job required.

UPDATE: company replies to me sanding me another hub which works perfectly. Really professional stuff and great costumers service.Usb and Card reader are working but not the hdmi port. the connection is not stable and most of the time I can just see images without audio.
