I had previous set but this one is taller, has 4 total and had batteries to my surprise!

I mistakenly reviewed that the delivery never occurred. Then I asked my family. The order cane when I was away and they put the box in the garage for safekeeping. The votives are slimmer than I expected but they are very nice and will work for my needs just fine!

I have bought different types of similar LED candles. This is the best so far, with "flames" that are not orange like most of them. These actually provide some light, and not just a smudge of light.But I will probably need to buy another set if I wish to pair two of the same height. Looking down into the the centers of the two 6" candles, both lit, I see different waxes and flames when comparing them.(1) Candle #1 has a flame that is nicely white (not glaring). Its wax surface is white (not yellowish at all) with possibly a VERY slight blue tint to it. (Nice!) The surface is very clear and reflective of light. (2) Candle #2 has a flame that is noticeably less white, but still not orange-ish like some candles. Its wax surface has a slightly yellowish or creamy tint, and is darker and less reflective of light.That does not change the fact that I like these very much. I recommend them. But as I said, a second set should ensure better pairings.

Had twins over for Christmas and had these sitting inside the fireplace. One knocked them over and no fire spread. Getting some more.

I bought two of these sets as gifts. One set seemed fine…the second set had 3 candles where the wax started half way up and encased the wicks so that the candles wouldn’t light. It also came without a remote. An agent fromAmazon was kind enough to send another set and told me to throw away useless candles. I don’t feel the candles were worth the money. I wrote to the seller last night, but have heard nothing yet. Never got the courtesy of an answer from the seller. I will be sure to never buy anything else from him/her!

I went back and forth on these before finally going ahead and purchasing them. This is mainly because some reviewers said the remote wasn't that great or they arrived broken ( they ARE glass, but also that's a shipping issue and nothing to do with the candles). I could not find anything else like them anywhere and I wanted tall, slim, smokey colored battery operated candles. So I finally bought them. They arrived quickly, in perfect condition and the moment I opened the box, I was IN LOVE with them! They look amazing on my fireplace. Great quality, elegant design, very impressive. The only issue I have--and it is so insignificant it is hardly worth mentioning BUT-- the remote has to be aimed directly at the candles to have the desired affect. I am considering buying more...i really wish they came in sets of 6. However, i highly recommend these.

Super verpackt und rasch verschickt worden. Sehen auch wunderschön aus, finde ich. Durch den Timer natürlich perfekt. Anschalten, Uhrzeit anklicken und fertig. Schalten sich dann von alleine aus. Bin übrigens schon darauf angesprochen worden, woher ich sie habe.

I really like these candles. I couldn’t be certain from the description whether the ‘flames’ were those silly, flappy bits of flat plastic that look realistic from 10 feet away but stupid up close, but they’re not. These candles have a real 3D bulb that looks much more like the real thing from closer up. They flicker quite realistically (although I’d like a bit more flicker) and you can turn the flickering off with the remote control if you want a steady light (though why you’d want that from a candle, I’m not sure).The glass cylinders are attractive, though a bit brittle so be careful, and have an odd rainbow sheen that’s redolent of that effect you see on soap bubbles. I bought the clear glass because I wanted the maximum light, it’s possible that the grey glass doesn’t have that soapy effect. It’s not unpleasant though, so I’m happy.The remote control works well. Sometimes when you press ON not all the candles light but if you press it again the others come on. Pressing OFF does turn them all off at the same time. You can raise or lower the brightness level with the remote and can set the candles to be on for four hours in twenty-four or eight in twenty-four. That way you can leave them to go on and off regularly in a day.I’m pleased with these and may well buy another set.
