Excellent silk filament
Normally, I’m not a huge fan of silk filaments. They’re PLA, but they often don’t print the same as PLA. They can require temperature and retraction changes. This filament is wonderful though! It did require a bump to the printing temperature and I didn’t take the time to dial in retraction settings, so there’s some stringing and bumps in my photos that don’t affect my review. I have a new printer arriving in the next few days, so I’m not spending the effort to get this fully dialed in. I will absolutely be using this filament with my new printer and I’m excited to work with it there. The imperfections in the photos are due to my laziness, not anything wrong with the filament. The good: this stuff prints great. It adheres perfectly to the bed, and I have zero complaints with it. If you have trouble with underextrusion and brittle prints, you may need to increase the printing temperature. That’s a normal thing with silk filaments. The coloring is beautiful and looks amazing when you turn a print in your hands and see it go from green to blue. The photos genuinely don’t do it justice. The filament comes on a cardboard spool which helps reduce plastic waste on a hobby that’s already very heavy on plastic waste. Do the good you can where you can. There’s very little bad, but a couple things I want to mention that could detract from the filament. First, you need to dial in your settings. This is the same with every new filament type you use, so I’m not docking a star for it. If you just slap it on your spool holder and try to rock and roll with a 2 day giant vase print, you might have a bad time and be sad. That’s not the filament’s fault. Secondly, and I’m chalking this up to my printer’s stock Bowden tube, there’s a squeak sound occasionally. It’s feeding fine, just causing a squeak. It doesn’t bother me and doesn’t impact the quality of the prints, but is something to watch out for. I spoke with a friend that’s also used this filament and he did not have this squeak, but he also has a direct drive printer. Your mileage may vary here, and if you’ve replaced your Bowden tube with Capricorn or another premium PTFE, you probably will not hear it.In summary, I really like this filament and plan to try out other colors. If you want your prints to stand out and your favorite colors are shades of blue and green, this is a no-hesitation buy.

Another winning filament from Eryone
TLDR: Beautiful Dual-Color Silk PLA. The colors look great when printed in Vase mode. Resealable bag and cardboard spool with remaining filament length/weight gauges are nice touches. Zero issues with bed adhesion. Know your printer and its limitations; don’t skip calibrating/tuning.Two printers used for testing -- FLSun Super Racer delta and Fokoos Odin-5. E-Steps, Extrusion and PID tuning completed prior to testing; followed TeachingTech's calibration guide. All models sliced with Prusa 2.5.2 for FLSun and with Cura 2.5.1 for FokoosThe 1KG roll of dual-color silk filament was neatly wound on a ~140g cardboard spool, and packaged in a cardboard box with a resealable vacuum-sealed bag.The spool was embossed with the Eryone Logo, and a sticker provided gauges indicating approximate remaining filament length and weight gauge as well as filament recommended printing values.Temp Tower: 220 deg C provided a nice print; as the temp went down, the filament started to fall apart and I stopped the printDrippy Bucket with Divider Insert by DaveMoneySign on Printables- This is an easy albeit longer print ~8 hours for all pieces- Parts fit perfectly and allow for mix and match- Eryone White and Galaxy Silver also usedHollow Flying Ring by Grampa3DPrints on Printables- This is a fun toy, prints fast and is surprisingly durable- Eryone Galaxy Silver used for weighted ringHoneycomb vase parametric by Radus on Thingiverse- Low risk, high reward print; prints fast and looks great- 7 STLs of various sizes, and you can scaleUno Card Box by MrNiceDM on Thingiverse- Decent print with great color separation on each side of box- Used tree supports in Cura and it left some scarring/artifacts- Silk PLA is not as forgiving as regular or matte PLA; surface defects will be more pronounced"Issues" - the FLSun is a Bowden-style extruder with bi-metal heat break. This filament worked fine when in vase mode and when printing models without a lot of retractions. But technical, high-retraction prints like the Super Fine Lattice Easter Egg by Dazus on Thingiverse brought printing to a grinding halt with multiple extruder clogs. Know your printer and its limitations.Overall, great filament – nice colors and it prints nicely. You must calibrate your printer and test this filament to get the best out of it.

Eryone is great filament and easy to work with same tier as Overture
Summary: Eryone is great easy filament to work with and gonna buy more now. Def recommend this one.I have two ender 3 that runs with octopis. First ender 3 has all metal microswiss and second ender 3 has everything stock except it is direct drive. Both Ender 3s are direct drive.I used generic PLA in Cura to start with and I will list out below what I changed.First Ender 3 (All metal microswiss with PEI sheet and CR Touch)Retraction Distance = 0.8mmRetraction Speed = 35 mm/sCombing Mode = Not in SkinSecond Ender 3 (Direct Drive Stock with PEI sheet)Bed Temperature = 70CPrint Speed = 50 mm/sRetraction Distance = 1.5mmRetraction Speed = 35mm/sCombing Mode = Within InfilAt the first, I ran temperature tower, retraction tower, and Benchys as test subjects. I ended up using generic PLA temperature except for second Ender 3 then tuned retraction for Direct drive mode.I noticed that my stock Ender 3 was struggling with adhesive but I was having great lucks to slow print and keep stringing inside of infill. I printed Darth Vader and Flexi-Rex with stock Ender 3, and the print came out great.Rest of other prints are done by first Ender 3 and print quality looks super great. I find that Eryone is great as Overture which is my favorite filament to work with. Now I will be buying more Eryone since quality is great especially you didn't have to change much. Plus look what I have made and I love what I have printed. Color looks so sick for models and they will be in living room where everyone can see them. For tips to make color looks clean, try print with low infil for base and then use vase mode or support block to have rest of model to be 0% infil. All of models can be found on Printables.

Super Eryone!
The media could not be loaded. In vielerlei Hinsicht! Gemessen an 10 Filamentabschnitten. Klasse Filament Eryone!

Tolles Dual Color Filament

Colore spettacolare, doppio effetto seta e bicolore
