Cheaper than from the scientific supply catalog for sure!
The LAB FISH electronic pipettor is a very good quality instrument that I'm sure will last me many years. When I ordered it I didn't realize that although it sucks up the material automatically, it does not suck out a pre-determined amount. I guess I didn't read the description well enough, so that's my fault. It's quite easy to operate though, and the adjustable speed lets you have both quickness and control when transferring fluids. I'd highly recommend this as it's so much cheaper than the ones I've seen in the laboratory supply catalogs!

LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettors Pump: Versatile Option for Lab Use
The LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettors Pump is a well-designed and versatile option for lab use, based on the information provided. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons:Wide Range: Suitable for a large range of liquids from 0.1ml to 200ml, accommodating various pipettes and Pasteur tubes.Rechargeable Battery: Offers long-lasting use with an 8-hour intermittent use battery life and quick charging (2-3 hours).Dual Drainage Modes: Provides both gravity drainage and dynamic drainage with 6 speed settings. The dynamic setting allows for fast dispensing (25ml in 5 seconds).Safety Feature: The 0.45 micron hydrophobic filter membrane helps prevent liquid from flowing back into the pipette, potentially extending the product's lifespan.Ergonomic Design: While "cuteness" is subjective, the product description suggests a user-friendly and potentially comfortable design.Overall, the LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettors Pump has great features for lab work. The wide range compatibility, rechargeable battery, dual drainage modes, safety features, and ergonomic design are all positive aspects.

Short battery life
This review is for the LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettors Pump Pipette Controller for Lab | 0.1~200ml Range 6 Adjustable Speeds | LCD Display 8h Rechargeable Lithium Battery with Standing Stand. The LAB FISH is my first powered pipette controller. When I was in school people just used pipettes in their mouths. My pipetting these days is in the kitchen. I have a mechanical pipette controller but that controller has never worked reliably. I am pleased with how the LAB FISH works, but I had some difficulty getting there. When I first received my LAB FISH I charged the battery. Then I realized the pipette tips that I had were incompatible with the LAB FISH. Once I acquired the correct pipette and had an opportunity to use it -- measuring pectinase for dissolving grapefruit -- the LAB FISH didn't work. Nothing.Eventually I realized the battery was dead. LAB FISH has an odd power connector rather than USB C. Finally I have the LAB FISH working satisfactorily. Easy to use. One button up, other button to drain. Simple. One star off because of the poor power connector and short battery life.

Highly Efficient and Reliable Electronic Pipettor
The LAB FISH Laboratory Electronic Pipettor has significantly improved my daily lab work. With a wide range of 0.1-200ml, it easily accommodates various pipette sizes, making it versatile for different applications. When I first received the pipettor, I was impressed by the comprehensive package that included a stand, extra pump pads, and a charger. The LCD display and adjustable speed settings made it easy to get started, though I have prior experience with electronic repeater pipettes.Using this pipettor has notably increased my efficiency. The large-capacity lithium battery provides up to 8 hours of intermittent use on a single charge, which means I don't have to worry about frequent recharging and can put in a full day of filling if needed and charge overnight. I particularly appreciate the dual drainage system with both gravity and dynamic modes. This feature has made liquid transfer quick and precise, and I've noticed a marked improvement in the consistency of my results. Initially, I struggled with the pump's speed being a bit too fast, but after a short adjustment period, I found it easy to manage and prevent overfilling. One of my favorite aspects of this pipettor is its ergonomic design. The lightweight build and comfortable grip make it easy to use for extended periods without causing hand fatigue. Although the proprietary charging plug was a minor inconvenience, it hasn't affected the overall performance of the device. Overall, the LAB FISH pipettor has exceeded my expectations, combining efficiency, accuracy, and user-friendly features to enhance my lab work significantly. If you're looking for a reliable electronic pipettor, I recommend this one.

Electric, not electronic - but it works
This electric pipette provides a small amount of control in speed of intake and discharge, and has a gravity discharge (nice to avoid splashing, or when dealing with annoying liquids) but it has not measurement capabilities itself. It’s just an electric version of the standard bulb style pipetter. You still need to watch and press and release the buttons when the measurement you need is achieved. It’s perhaps a little less taxing than a standard pipetter and you can slow the speed of the draw to get fairly precise with your timing, but I don’t think it’s saved time or energy, and it has cost more for not much more functionality. If the buttons were proportional that might actually be useful, but it’s a constant draw or discharge regardless of the pressure used. There’s no tactile feedback either other than the pump turning on and off.The wall mount is adhesive only, no screw hole or bracket. It comes with a few extra filters and the nozzles is stepped conical so it fits a wide variety of pipettes securely.

Works great!
We replaced the pipette controllers in our research and teaching labs a few weeks ago and they have held up very well compared to other controllers we have tried. This electronic pipet controller works well for us. 100% recommended.
