I bought this to replace a faulkty dashcam cable. Although the dashcam was high quality the original cable supplied with it was poor, deteriorated rapidly and stopped charging the camera, as well as causing dreadful radio interference in the car. Now that I've used this new cable I can't recommend it more highly. No radio interference, camera charges and functions perfectly and the cable appears robust and thicker than the original. Swift delivery, good packaging and an email from the seller offering assistance and support. What's better than that? Buy one

This resolved my radio interference problem
For all of you out there with dash cams that have cheap chinese power cables to charge the device will know that these emit RFI noise interference that can then in turn effect your FM radio signal in the car. I had done countless hours of searching around at multiple power supplies and ferrite clips to reduce then ultimately in the end took the plunge to get this charger. Needless to say I am more than impressed. It took some force to get this plugged into the 12V socket but this gave it a much more solid feel knowing it would stay plugged in. I also think that this tightness reduced the RFI noise emitted and thus curing the FM interference. I can once again listen to multiple radio stations without that crackle. There was also plenty of cable to tuck away with clips making this a worthwhile buy ideal for any dash cam! **UPDATE** This charger stopped working within just one month but service has been easy to rectify, hoping the next cable doesn't give a repeat

Bought for a SatNav. Does the job. Feels cheap, but works fine. Delivers the required power.

Does not work for me
Bought it for a Garmin sat nav for charging, but it does not charge. It`s not faulty, I think it does does not give enough power for my needs. When I plug it in the Garmin it tells me it`s not charging and to use the original lead. I am sure it`s ok for most needs, but not for me.

Long lead, enough to wire it in for a dash cam
Good product, I have 2 of these now and use them both on dash cams. Long enough lead to wire it around the seat, door and up to the mirror. No problems.

Worked great for 3 months then caught fire
Ordered 3 months ago, worked fab powering my rear dashcam. Until today.. got in my car and started it up as i do every time I go out. Luckily I ended up making a phone call for 5 mins before I drove off because suddenly the car started filling with smoke and thag disgusting electrical fire smell. Found it was coming from my cigarette lighter and more specifically the cable plugged into it - this one. Ripped it out and threw it out of the car before it properly went up in flames. Had I have not made that phone call I would have been doing 70 down the motorway at that time. Not ideal, wouldn't recommend.
