this is a cute blanket for the price, but beware it pills like crazy-do not wash this comforter because it will pill and leave little white fuzz balls over all of your bedding

After washing this quilt and pillow cases, I tossed them into a chair while I attended to other matters. When I came back, 2 of my cats had claimed it as theirs. Later, after they got up, my senior cat claimed it.In my house, Cat Tested, Cat Approved is proof of good stuff.Seriously, it's soft and comfortable and warm. What more do you expect from a bed quilt & pillow cases?

This is a very simple set. The design is not fancy, and it doesn't look super high-end to me, but it is incredibly soft and comfortable. For the price, I think it is a really great bedding set. I washed it before putting it on my bed, and it came out looking fabulous, no wrinkles at all. It fit comfortably in my front-loader washer and dryer. It is a little short on the sides, but I knew it would be based on the dimensions listed. I have a really deep mattress, so most bed coverings are a little short on the sides. The pillow shams fit my king-size pillows. My favorite aspect of the quilt is the slight stretchiness it has. It is very cozy. I live in a warm climate, so I do not need heavy bedding. We sleep under this and a flat sheet, and so far this winter, we have not needed an additional blanket to keep warm. I think the words "thin comforter" in the product listing are very accurate.

I honestly wasn't expecting much when I ordered this. Just your typical quilt blanket & pillow shams. ..but WOW! I usually run linens through the wash before they go on my bed but these were SOOOOO soooooft! So soft!!! I couldn't wait to snuggle in them!It's winter in Virginia right now. I'm chubby & run hot so I need blankets that breathe. These feel like they are barely on you, they are so soft. And they are not cheap feeling at all. These had to be designed by a person who gets night sweats because I've rarely had any since I've been using these. No more sour pillow smells! I love this set! And I'm VERY picky about blankets too. We finally got to put this on our bed last night.The comforter is soft, and light weight but retained the heat though the night. It has a night tight thread on it and feels like it will be fine to wash in our normal washer.Another pro is that it actually hangs over the edge of our bed covering the larger mattress we have. We have a few other "king" size toppers that dont actually hang over, and i dont like those at all.There are no Cons to this. The pillow cases are nice, the topper is nice, and keeps in warm air, but still breathes a bit.Would recommend and buy again.

It's functional. It's definitely not as soft as I would have hoped. I don't know if it will soften up over time though. It lays very nicely right out of the laundry, no need for pressing.

I thought sheets came with the set but they didn’t. I was disappointed. But good quality and very nice.
