Great distraction for when you're cooking!
The media could not be loaded. We have 2 kittens who, despite being fed the correct amount of dried food, are thieves and will poke their noses into everything! As such, cooking and meal preparation can be a real problem, unless they are banished from the kitchen at every meal time. This cat treat ball - which we use with their regular Royal Canin cat food - makes a huge difference, making our meal times both pleasant for us and entertaining for the cats. As the cats tend to be fed just before us, we merely put most of their food in their dishes and the rest into the ball to allow us to get on with cooking/eating in peace. The ball is of sturdy construction and the holes where the food/treat comes out can be adjusted, by minuscule amounts, by a simple twist of the coloured plastic base. This makes the ball suitable for a wide range of cat foods/treats. We also purchased a PetSafe SlimCat Feed Ball at the same time as this and have found this to be better, as the 'spiral maze' inside delays the food dispensing for longer than the open ball construction of the PetSafe, giving us more peace! In the video, you'll see the ball being used with a relatively large opening but, with fine adjustment (and possibly the marking of the optimal opening size with a pen), you can make it far more challenging than this. All in all, this is a great product. It is cheaper than the PetSafe SlimCat (46p at the time of writing!), can be made more challenging and can be used for slimming your cat or as a superb distraction for inquisitive or greedy cats, allowing the human in the house to be more productive! Highly recommended.

Great for the first five months
Great at keeping my kitten entertained. He kept eating his dry too fast so I use this to slow him down and it works great. The only issue is that over time the part that you twist to change the size of the opening lossens over time so sometimes it closes itself which frustrates him. Other times it opens fully and the food pours out which makes the ball itself pointless. I am going to purchase another one though because he loved it when it worked and it did work properly for about 5 month which isn't bad for £4

Good Concept, Mixed Results
I purchased the Catit Treat Ball to encourage my cats to play and exercise while enjoying a treat-filled reward system. Its spherical design is more appealing to pets compared to other options I’ve tried. You fill the ball with treats, and your cats have to work to get them out, which is meant to keep them engaged and active.Pros• Encourages play and exercise: A great idea for keeping cats active.• Spherical design: Appeals to pets more than non-spherical options.• Adjustable difficulty: Treats don’t fall out too easily, making cats work for their rewards.Cons• Filling is inconvenient: Lacks a screw-open design; you have to use the larger hole to insert treats, which can be fiddly.• Limited engagement: My cats lost interest fairly quickly.• Trial and error with treats: Finding the right size treat that works well with the ball can be tricky.

Fabulous product. My young cat quickly mastered pushing it around to receive the treats.

Enjoyable
Purchased for a 10 month old kitten, who seemed to really enjoy it. Larger than I thought, but she's still capable of moving it around. Then the big cats spotted her, there's 6 of those , at which point the just batted the ball between each other and it was fastest to the treat wins. All in all seems they are enjoying it

dangerous !
incredibly dangerous product. bought this for our cat but our dog managed to get a hold of it (he’s the same size as a cat - small breed) and got his jaw stuck in the opening. had to cut it off with wire cutters and it cut all his gums. we’re lucky the damage wasn’t worse and we didn’t have to take him to the vet. would give 0 stars if i could. do not buy!
