Horrible product
If you are intending to use this in a recirculating system, get GH's instead. I decided to try this product out while waiting for my shipment of GH ph down, which is what I normally use. Mixing small increments (at 10 minute intervals) of this product barely reduced my ph while raising my ppm's absurdly high. My starting point was 7.4 and 320 ppm. I gave up at 6.8 and 1470 ppm. I threw the water out and did less, ending at 7 and 960 ppm. Those numbers are still bad for young vegetable plants but I used it anyways because I was running out of time. Big mistake! This product created a thick white sludge that clogged my brand new pond pump, causing the motor to burn up. The white sludge also coated my rapid rooters, causing two out of three young plants to die. All of this took place over a 3 day span. I am not new to hydroponics, RDWC or using ph down. I have never had these issues with other companies. I took a chance going with this product and now I'm out $5 for the ph down, $22 for the pump, a few bucks worth of nutrients, a couple plants and about 2 1/2 hours of my time. Thanks Root Farm!!!!!

It does the job, but not worth the cost
When it comes to these types of conditioners, it comes down to "how much does the pH get effected per drop". This does of course depend on the PPM of the solution, but compared to General Hydroponics you have to use around 4x as much. Compared to a local hydro supplier that produces their own, 8x.What this means is regardless of brand, you're purchasing the same amount - 8oz, 16oz, etc. How much to get your pH down to your goal is what equates cost. I am estimating I'll be able to do 1-1.5 months of balancing using the full FoxFarms lineup to balance out with this product. General Hydroponics lasted me 2 full grows, ~5-6 months, for same size. But same cost (GH is lower atm).

Not consistent enough..
I liked the fact that this was affordable, but found that you get what you pay for! I've always used the general hydroponic line, but this year couldn't fit it in my budget and had to try something cheaper. I won't be buying this again, and wouldn't recommend it.Mainly because I found myself having to use plenty to get my water balanced, only to have the water either rise or fall within hours. If you're a serious Gardner this product wouldn't be for you, for someone who's a hobbyist or ph isn't that big a deal to you try it. But Keep a eye on your feedings.Overall I won't be cutting corners in the future, and will be purchasing what's been tried and has worked for me. The GH line. ✌✌

Great stuff
Had problem with runoff being too low, causing a real problem with nitrogen issues for my tomatoes. A few drops of this into a gallon of water and the runoff comes out much closer to what it went in at. Really great stuff. Hopefully the 'maters agree!

Works great on high ph water
This product works great where I live! My tap water ph is an average of about 9. I fill up a gallon every few weeks to water my semihydro plants and put in only a drop at a time, then check my ph until the desired ph is shown.. You only need a few drops per gallon depending on where you live. Just be careful not to get on skin as it can be corrosive!

Recommend this product. Good price. A lot goes a long way
This stuff is potent. You barely need any of this added to a gallon of water to lower the pH to that sweet spot. 5.5-6.5 depending on what your growing. The pH up works well with nutrients to help maintain that balance also since a lot of fertilizers are very acidic.

Working great as intended
As an all organic grower, I was looking for the best PH-down I could find for the best price That fit my grow style. I have been using this one ever since. My only negative is the price as I find it more expensive than other PH downs.I would recommend it

Definetely helps
Lots of house plants that were not doing well. Did a little research and discovered the the PH levels have a lot to do with that so after testing the levels, I tried this product and within a week there were lots of new shoots.
