The moon in colour
Ordered this ink yesterday, it arrived today in the usual Amazon delivery standard... everything was fine.Purged and cleaned one of my Waterman Allure fountain pens and filled it with this Moon Dust ink. First impression was of how great the colour was! It flowed beautifully and dried quickly..no smudging at all whilst writing. It's great quality and for that fact it's also great value. The writing catches your eye as it's so different from the standard blue or black. In summary..... beautiful colour, excellent ink and highly recommended!

Beautiful and dries well
I’m still quite new to fountain pens so I don’t have much experience to compare but the drying time for it is great, (the one that came with my pen was so bad for smudging), the performance is nice and smooth, and is a good size of product considering the low price tag. I recommend getting this, especially if you’re new to ink and pens. A lovely wine colour.

Moondust is velvet in a bottle
This has got to be one of my my most favourite inks of all time. It's not purple and its not brown and it's not pink but some gorgeous alchemy of all three. It's always difficult to find a 'work appropriate' ink that isn't blue. Or black. Or blue-black. This ink, to my mind, fits the bill perfectly. It's extremely well-behaved too: excellent flow, good lubrication, not too wet, not too dry. I'd call it a workhorse ink but it's too beautiful for that because the shading is just fantastic and it's the shading that elevates this ink into my GOAT category. On the page, it makes your writing look like velvet: you know when you brush your hand over the nap of velvet or suede and you get that light-dark contrast? That's what it looks like when you've written a whole page. This is an icon ink for me - if J Herbin ever stopped making it I'd take to my bed with the vapours then get back up with a pitchfork.Gorgeous ink, similar to KWZ Brown-Pink (but the latter doesn't come close to the same degree of shading as PdeL).

Flows well and a pleasant shade
I enjoy writing with a fountain pen, I find it gives the experience of writing a certain increased attention to detail, both in the act and the thoughts I record. The choice of ink shade is an enjoyable part, Jacques Herbin is an excellent brand and this ink is of the usual quality and so increases the pleasure in writing. The key points being it flows well when writing, but is not overly wet, the shade is distinctive as it is a quite light purple to my eyes and it does not show significant fade. I would and have recommended it, as I have used it before and will again in the future.

Lovely dark purple ink, great for journalling or work use!
Full disclosure, this is the first bottle of ink I've ever bought, but I've found it to be an amazing ink.Lovely deep purple that stays where written and doesn't seem to 'bleed' too much except on certain papers that would probably have that issue regardless of pen.Purple enough for personal enjoyment, but also deep enough that you could get away with using it in the work place (YMMV of course!)Will be buying Herbin ink again in the future!

Bought for Christmas
Bought for Christmas cards, a nice light shade of ink, writes well across the page, quick drying ink. Very nice product choice. Recommended the product

bit disappointed
Well I was hoping for pink ink which i suppose it is. But actually this is a watery based product giving a very light weight pink colour. so i was disappointed.
