Better Than Rode For The Price
I'm over the moon with this mic. I broke my expensive Rode lapel mic, which is "broadcast quality", and RRP 150. It was pretty much get another or try something cheaper, but quality is important. Most lapel mics at the price of this Sony get mixed reviews but the reviews for Sony are pretty consistent. I was NOT disappointed. I use it with my Zoom H4N and I've got to say the quality is near that of Rode (Rode is possibly slightly better) BUT FOR THE PRICE, you can't go wrong with this Sony mic. Also, compared to something more expensive, I can happily have a back up or two, and not be in fear of breaking it! Thank you so much Sony :)

Very good value
I tested this with a Sony FDR-AX53 and RODE wireless go. Very good combination and the sound quality of very good and clear.

Great little stereo microphone.
I bought this to give me better quality and have my digital recorder out of my hands. Very good quality at the price, clear and no ambient sounds interfering with the reception. I am extremely pleased with this mic.

The very best
Used with zoom h1, until now I have used audio technica 3350 and sony cs10. This is absolutely the best. Bought a spare one in case it brakes.

Does NOT work
After an initial test where it seemed to start working I then did two important recordings where it did NOT work. Previous buyer said same thing but unfortunately I gave it benefit of doubt and wasted my money but frustratingly lost an important recording

Useless
Pretty much useless for motovlogging. Once the wind noise rises in the crash helmet the microphone distorts all the sound. Have 2 of these microphones and they both do it. No problem on cheaper microphones
