It let's you see if the sparkplug is failing with the increase of current.
Very basic set up and operation. Gives you an instant ability to diagnose a pair or a single sparkplug. They don't have to be old to fail. Just a simple carbon deposit could make it fail. If you're into looking at it yourfelf it is a great help.

Beware
This is A good quality tool. will work with standard size motorcycle and automotive plugs but will not work with short body plugs such as used in some lawn equipment and heaters . I suggest that some adapter be designed and included with this tool to facilitate use with different diminution plugs .

La fuente viene con 2A vi que en otras reseñas había puesto fuentes de 1A pero corrigió ese problema y se lo agradezco infinitamente que escucha a sus clientes.

only goes up to 2000 rpm then shuts off
This was the second try to get a working unit. Ordered the yellow one first. Hubsbnd is a life long performance car builder, he knows how to use equipment. Put in new plugs. unit only ran to 2000 rpm and shut down. Not the 9000 promised. Also this unit had obviously been returned once. The box had been retaped shut with wrinkled paking tape and the flap ittle box inside with the plug was open. 'm marking it defective so it doesn't get sent out again.

Not as High Energy as a coil
With a plug installed in the unit you can actually hear the performance of the plug as you turn it up. Spark Plugs are mass produced. Run them wide open and you can actually hear if the buzz is intermittent. Tune it down and up and you can see the performance of the plug. Another diagnostic tool to narrow things down.
