Nova Wax Lamp Purple Liquid Red Wax

I had the blue one about 4 years ago, unfortunately it was switched off for about 3 years due to moving house and when I switched it on it just wouldn't work - the wax was solid and didn't move. So I've just bought the purple one, it's so beautiful and very relaxing to watch. Highly recommended.

Love this lava lamp. It’s a modern shape and looks great once warmed up. Mine took about 2 hrs first use. But will heat up quicker now. Very pleased

I have given this maximum stars, as I could not be happier! I read the reviews (you have to love Amazon for that!) - in a nutshell - the supplier could only have delivered it quicker if it had a transporter (a la Startrek!). I put the lamp together, so that's how easy it is to assemble :)Now for the lamp itself - I bought the purple / red - The wax melts quickly - I think it took about an hour and a half the first time we used it and now only takes about 30 minutes (we use it every day), the height of the lamp means you get lots of movement from the melting at the bottom, to the cooling at the top - lots of bubbles. I've put it next to our TV and often end up staring at the lamp instead of the telly!!! Very calming :)I was going to buy a cheaper lamp and am so pleased I didn't, this one does not cost much more than the cheapies, it looks expensive and is most definitely worth every penny. I will be buying another for our kitchen...

Good for relaxation and love the warm colour. Fascinating to watch. Does take a long time to warm up - at least an hour and a half in a cool room but not as long when warmer. Functions much better in a warmer environment. Previous lava lamp was a rocket design - like the appearance of this one much more. Works better than my last one too. Overall very pleased with purchase.

This was my second lava lamp I bought and although it works well and functioned as expected, the build quality isn't as good as other brands out there. The lamp bottle didn't sit straight in the base and this was a design flaw rather than a manufacturing issue. I wasn't too bothered as once set up you don't touch the bottle.

I bought this as a present for my 12 year old daughter who had asked for one for Christmas. I shopped around but this one looked particularly good quality and has a nice modern design. It is also black and red to match her room. We haven't been disappointed as it is a high quality item and has worked well so far. It does take a good 2 hours to warm up when you first turn it on, so be patient! After a few uses it becomes more like an hour.Once working the lamp produces a constant display of moving 'blobs' which is quite hypnotic to watch! We have ended up with it in the living room rather than my daughter's bedroom as we all love it. The colours are bright and it also doesn't get dangerously hot. It has been used every day for 2 weeks for several hours with no problems so far.

This is the most gorgeous lava lamp I have ever seen! The photos really don’t do it justice, where the white light is is all red but for some reason it shows up white on the camera. It’s absolutely perfect 🤩
