If you’re going to replace your motorcycle’s chain yourself, this is the tool to get. Breaking the chain is super easy. First pin came out with minimal effort, and the chain broke well before I fully pushed out the second pin. Pressing the chain is also easy, but you need to be patient during the pressing and riveting processes. If you want to make things easier for yourself out of the box, add some high-quality multi-purpose grease to the threads on the tool so it moves smoothly and freely. Then, just go 1/4 or 1/8 turns and measure your rivets as you press them. Clean the tool and grease the threads before you put it away. The functionality can’t be beat. This is purpose-built, and a high-quality, high-performing tool. Motion Pro tools are great, and I have several. They’ve all performed well for motorcycle maintenance and upgrades. You won’t be disappointed.

This did everything it stated and more. Always remmeber to use anti-seize or light grease equivalent on all the threads so you dont cross thread the bolts. The first time I used this tool I accidentally split a rivet on a chain. Vary strong tool and worked great on 520 chain. Fittiment and ease of use. Didn't really need instructions but checked it out anyway. This tool is staying with me forever.

Don't waste your money on the cheaper chain breaker/rivet tool. This tool broke, pressed and riveted a 530 chain like it was nothing. Very well made tool. Easy to understand instructions are included. I won't touch another chain without this tool!
