**Q: Is this product suitable for leaking cast iron joint of a drainage pipe?**
A: As long as the joint isn't under pressure,  (mains supply ) I have found it stops leaks in most cases , just clean off joint , apply product pushing into crevice or thread, it will then set to a jelly kind of  substance when it comes into contact with water , good product for most applications so cant see why it wont work

**Q: Canthis be used to seal a leak that in a shower fitting that is spraying at high pressure when used?**
A: Depends on the size of the hole but i would say yes. Sealed water pressure at 2 bar with this stuff.

**Q: Will this seal a leak in a campervan where the pipe has disconnected from the tap?**
A: If the pipe has completely disconnected then this sealant will not help.
If you are able to re-connect the pipe to the tap, a smear of the sealant on the connection before tightening it will help to stop a small leak (dripping).
The sealant is very good for stopping drips and small leaks.  It can't be used as a substitute for good plumbing.

**Q: How do you apply this stuff?**
A: Just to correct the early reply, Fernox's own site states LS-X is suitable for both compression and screw fittings.
