Don’t let the EVH logo and graphics put you off
Great build quality. Better switch than original crybaby. LED’s are useful live and best of all a great natural sweep.Been playing almost 30 years. Owned a number of wahs over this time. Most recently a Fulltone Clyde and a Morley Bad Horsie 2. This wah has them both beat thanks to a near perfect vocal sweep over its travel. At the heel down it’s not overly sub sonic and the low end stays tight. At toe down it’s quite neutral and doesn’t really add unpleasant high end to your base tone. The “wah” is firmly accented in the mids and as I’ve said is very vocal.Wah sounds I appreciate are Hendrix, Trower and Brian Robertson Of Thin Lizzy fame. This wah is firmly in that ballpark and works equally well with a Strat or a Les Paul.Love it. Wished I’d tried it a few years earlier.
